Delano smiled and nodded. "How did you know?" He asked, acting like it wasn't obvious enough already. "Marrone gave us permission just now. We talked to him after the fight." he explained.

Delano noticed how Jafar also looked tired. "How are you feeling?" he asked.

Jafar sighed. "Tired, and also a bit worried. Addana seemed angry at me for leaving," he said, remembering the friendship they once shared.

"Right. Thanks, dad," Zuwa said, and bent low to the ground, his bottom still sticking high in the air. "Like this?"

Alma looked down at Nyembe, "Yes son, we are disappointed in you. Come into the den so we can speak to you." Alma said walking into the den.

Nyembe did as he was told. "What is it this time?" he asked.

Delano was surprised by Jafar's answer. "Really? She's mad at you because you left?" He then remembered his own reaction to Jafar's leaving. He was also mad for a long time. "Can't say she's the only one," he muttered. But that was in the past. Jafar had returned.

Delano remembered his conversation just earlier today about Tempesta. Maybe he can give the same advice to Jafar now. "Jafar, maybe, maybe you should go and talk to her. Explain things. That yo didn't mean to hurt her by leaving. She might understand."

"This is exactly what we needto speak about. You are acting like a cub! So cocky and acting like a smart alick" Alma said sternly. "You are to act as royalty! You are a disappointment to our family! You don't spar, your always hunting alone causing us to get tiny gain." Alma sternly said angry at her son. "You are to apoligize to the entire pride, and start sparring and hunting with the others,." Alma said.
She turned to Marrone,"What punishment are you giving him?" Alma asked getting Nyembe more punishment besides her own.

Tempesta nuzzled Delano's mane back and her eyes looked up to Jafar, "I'm sure she'd understand Jafar." she said softly. She rested her head on Delano's back and smiled at his little brother. "Your back though, you've returned. She just needs to warm up to you thats all." she added.

Marrone watched Alma cut into Nyembe and he shook his head sighing, "Nyembe what is wrong with you? Why haven't you been sparring with the others? Or even tried to hunt? Where is Vitani at?" he said looking down to his son. He reclined to his hinds by the angered Alma and his grey eyes watched Nyembe closely for answers.

Nyembe scoffed. "I haven't sparred because I've been trying to woo this princess you want me to marry. I don't know where she is at the moment," he said. He was immensely irritated. Meanwhile, Jafar was listening to Delano. "All right, I'll go and talk to her," he said. He then headed to one of Addana's favorite spots. He was thankful to see her there. "Addana, can I talk to you?" he began.

Delano watched Jafar leave them, and then let our a long, tired yawn. He looked at the sky, it would soon start getting dark. That is, if his perception of time was not effected by the evening that was caused by the cloud overlay for almost the entire day. "I'm going to go to sleep," he told Tempesta. "A lot of things happened today, and they left me exhausted." He let out another yawn as he got up to move to his den. "you know, now that we can become mates, we, err..." he was starting to get nervous, but didn't want to make Tempesta feel bad by not suggesting his idea. "Well... we can share a den." His ears flattened in embarrassment.
