"And Alitash, you didn't answer my question. Do you really think that we're not a family just because it's only two of us?" Mardea asked her daughter.

[Adofo]

Alitash: .....No. ........I'm sorry! ......I was just upset. ......I do still want a daddy......but you'll always be enough for me!

[Iri]

"Well... I lived with only an adopted mother," Mardea said at last. "I didn't have a father around, and I turned out fine. I think you will too."

[Adofo]

Alitash: ......You were adopted too?

[Iri]

"Yes, I was," Mardea replied. "But my point is, I was adopted too, and I didn't have a father figure. All I'm saying is that I have been in your situation, and I think I turned out just fine." She nudged her daughter's forehead with her own.

[Adofo]

Alitash: .......Okay. ......But.....if you do like a guy.......could you at least give him a chance?

[Iri]

"All right," Mardea agreed. "But right now I'm just not interested."

"I love you too. Hey, why don't you go with Shujaa? Kapuki's taking her on her first real hunt," Alitash said to her daughter.
