The next day, Neema was observing her son's actions closely. Madiba seemed rather smooth and clever, but he did lack physical strength. And he could be very short and sometimes even a little rude. Gakere seemed fit to be king, even if he was younger... He was compassionate, kind, and polite, and he did have a stronger frame than his older brother. He would be more likely to defend his land than his scrawnier sibling.

Kubwa had brought Alitash and her mother some food while they were napping. He has a small crush on her mother.

Mardea looked up when she smelled the food. "Hi," she said cautiously. "What's this?"

[Adofo]

Kubwa: Just thought I would...bring you two some food! ....No big deal, really!

[Iri]

"Thank you," Mardea said, her hazel eyes flitting to her paws bashfully.

[Adofo]

Kubwa: You're welcome! .....I don't think I ever properly introduced myself! My name is Kubwa!

[Iri]

"My name's Mardea," the hazel-eyed lioness said.

[Adofo]

Alitash: And I'm Alitash!
Kubwa: It's a pleasure to meet you two! So...is Jase or Kane your mate?

[Wait, is Mardea mates with either of those two?]

[Adofo]

(No. But he thinks that maybe one of them is her mate. I was thinking she'd say something like "Neither. I don't have a mate." Or something. You get me?)
