The new danger in the land

Tua: It's okay. And don't worry about Marini. She'll get over it quick. Just....tell her you're sorry too.

Simba had a feeling that, seeing how Marini had forgiven Tua for running away that one time, she'd find it inside her to forgive him as well. That didn't make him feel any less guilty, but it was a somewhat comforting thought.

They finally make it back to the den and Tua snuggles up with his mate and Nuru is waiting for his uncle to settle down so he can sleep with him

Simba slowly walked over to Marini, who was busy cleaning Nuru's already sleeping brother. "Marini... I'm sorry about all of this..." She looked at him for a brief moment and smiled a small smile before turning her attention back to Mufasa. The king then walked over and lay down next to Nala, chuckling as he saw Nuru run over to him.

[Adofo]

Nuru: Did you and Daddy make up!?

Simba nodded his head, smiling. "We did." He gently brought the little cub over with his paws and held him against his mane. "And there's also something else."

[Adofo]

Nuru: What?

[TheWhistlerify]

Simba gave Nuru a quick, affectionate lick on his tiny head. "I've decided to ask your father to help me out with the kingdom like you suggested." he said. "That way I'll have more free time to spend with him and we'll be able to take care of some of the royal duties together."

[Adofo]

Nuru could help but scream in excitement "You made him Vice King!?!"

Simba chuckled and covered Nuru's mouth with his paw until he calmed down. "Yes, Nuru, I did. You were right."
