The Pride Lands (Zeke, NM, kovu42, morri908)

[Zeke]

Zeke no longer felt the pain. Anger completely consumed him and he felt it streaming throughout his body. It gave him strength and he liked it. Zeke pounced at Zilo once again, catching him in midair and falling to the ground in a tangle with the stronger lion. He let out a fury of slashes upon Zilo's body, cutting him up in every possible direction, but due to his sheer strength, Zilo came out on top once again.

Bakari wanted to jump in and aid Zeke, but if he got himself tangled up in the fight in a bad way and ended up injured or Zilo's next prey than he would only become a burden to Zeke. He stood only a few taillengths off, watching for the right moment to get Zilo, waiting to see what he and Zeke would do.

Zilo pinned Zeke with brute force. He grabbed Zeke's neck and slowly choked him. "No match for me, Zeke. Mi's all mine" he sneered, and tightened his grip around Zeke's neck.

Mila saw this happen and was horrified at what was taking place. Zeke, don't die.... Bakari, help him! she thought. She tried to smile, pretending that she liked it for the guards to see. Obviously Zilo was going to beat Zeke.

It was now that Zeke had realized what he had done. He had gone against his own code, let his emotions get in the way, and in result, had betrayed himself and his friends. He looked over at Bakari in a desparate search for help

Bakari rushed in and bit down hard on Zilo's leg, slashing his shoulder and twisting hard, trying to pull the lion off of Zeke, or at least break his arm with a little leverage and brute force. He raked one claw down Zilo's face, trying to free his friend.

Zilo jumped back in pain and said "2 versus 1? Oh come on, that's no fair!"

Mila ran inside and said "Well, then let's make it a 2 versus 2. Zilo, let's erase the memories of these worthless scums forever!"

"So I take it our little torture session is over?" Bakari sneered, growling loudly and defiantly. Mila's words replayed in his mind, let's erase the memories... Without a moment's hesitation, Bakari leaped for Zilo, claws extended, full strength showing.

[Zeke]

Zeke followed behind and followed his friend back into the battle, ready to die.

Mila looked towards Zilo, and pounced him. She clawed him ferociously, trying to kill him. There was no way Zilo could stand a chance in a 3 versus 1, especially all 3 of them being very strong. After a short time of this occurring, Zilo lay on the floor, motionless. The 3 backed away from him, seeing as he was critically wounded. "Mi.... why.." he asked Mila.

"I'm sorry, Zi. Your plans have gone too far and I won't let you kill any other innocent lions!" she screamed. "I don't care if I am your mate. Something had to have been done. I'm sorry." She looked away. This was going to be painful. She let Bakari or Zeke speak, to see if they had any last words to say.

Bakari looked from Zeke to Mila and down at the pitiful lump of fur and blood on the floor. He spat on the ground next to Zilo and padded off, figuring those were fine last words to that traitor to his whole species.
