Malik ran after her. When they reached the waterfall, Malik was shocked and hurt to see Vitani just laying on the ground, Marini sitting next to her. "Renee, go find Hakara!" Malik instructed. "But if he's in the barren lands, don't go there. Just come back and tell me."
