Marini decided to just play along so she looked up at him, even though he was looking at something else "Of course I am flattered from a young handsome lion like you." she put her head back down on her paws and held back a grin when she saw in the corner of her eye that he was looking at her again. She knew that the entire old thing was an excuse, she wasn't old. She was older than him, but not old.

Mufalfa just did a smug grin, "You're right I am handsome as well. No wonder you lionesses can;t get enough of me."

Marini held back a sneaky grin when she spoke next, "Of course, that's why you woke up to find me licking you and not the other way around." however it was exactly the other way around.
