"Auni, thank god you're awake" Ra said relieved. "Im fine thanks for asking..." Ra joked "Neru, he attcked you, and you, Tanga and Neru started fighting, You both got wounded and me and Imani dragged you back and Imani fixed you up, while I attended to Tanga. Mufalfa, he's alright, but this may come as a shock, but, Imani killed Neru." Ra said walking over to him, "You've been out a few hours, but yOu were badly wounded, are you alright? Any pains? Any headakes or anything? Any sickness?" Ra asked, as a mother would a child.

The lioness bobbed herself back and forth lightly trying to regain herself. She really did feel like she was about to fall asleep. In Tanga's mane, that would be better for her than the cold, hard ground. "Yeah" she laughed weakly, getting to her fours and walking along with him. She knew full well that the body of Neru was no mirage and it was waiting for her to look once more at it, but Tanga was doing his best to keep her innocent, cubbish eyes on the direction they were going in and not turning back to look at what was done and over with.

Walking back to the waterhole, it came into vision that Auni was now awake and him and her sister were conversing. Oh Great Kings of the Past, thank goodness he's awake, she thought with a smile on her face. Her legs gained a little more strength as she bolted away from Tanga's side and over to her friend whom she was concerned about after she had dropped him accidentally. Imani came to a halt in front of the male lion who she was carrying a little while ago and smiled at him. "Auni! Are you feeling better?"

She looked over at her older sister and smiled, trying her best to hide how tired she was. "Hey Ra, you okay too?" Before she could hear any replies, she smiled to herself and closed her eyes. The young lioness's body gave out on her and she fell to the side and was asleep faster than she had ever been but still with the light smile on her face.

Mufalfa awoke from his unconsciousness and came toward the rest of the lions. He saw Neru on the ground and came toward everyone shocked. "Is he dead?" When no one responded he gulped and looked to Imani, "You killed him didn't you? WHY?! WHY!" He looked away and said, "I apologize but you must understand that Neru was my only friend for a long time." He walked away obviously displeased by the site and looked toward Imani still angry with her. "Murderer..." Was all he could whisper.

Though the lioness wasn't awake, she could feel displeasure around her. Why...is there this feeling? she thought to herself. Her voice echoed through her head but she disregarded it as nothing and stayed in her slumber.

"Mufalfa, Wait." Ra said following Mufalfa, "Ill be back soon" Ra shouted. "Mufalfa, please, remember, he tried to kill us, and Imani was only defending two hurt males, please forgive them" Ra begged.

"I do forgive them Ra but as I said I just need some time alone so that I may get over the death of my only friend ever in my life." He looked away and laid down obviously wanting to be left alone for a few minutes.

"Mufalfa, were your friends, I'm here if you want to talk" Ra said quietly to Mufalfa as she lay down, but respecting his wish, she lay by a tree, away from him.

Tanga followed Imani as she dashed to Auni's side, asking if he and Ra were alright before simply sollapsing on the spot. "Imani!" he cried out, jumping to her side in worry. He relaxed quickly when he saw that she had simply dropped asleep from the exhaustion. He looked back out to the sky, noticing how it was already morning. A full day had passed, without anyone getting a wink of sleep that night really.

When Mufalfa yelled at Imani, Tanga leapt forward, flaring his mane and growling defensively, but did not say anything. He was not sure what he could say to the other side of the pair that was reponsible for his parents' deaths. In that moment, he was focused on making sure nothing happened to Imani.

Then Mufalfa seemed to calm down a bit, and stalked off, Ra following him. Tanga initially considered following them, but decided against it, when he released a huge yawn. Realising that he was almost as exhausted as he figured Imani had been, he found a comfortable spot close to Imani, making sure he could be by her side quickly, whilst still giving her space. He might love her now, but he was still unsure of her own feelings, and did not want to press things just yet.

As he began to drift off, laying his head on his forepaws, a smile crept onto his face as the memory of the scene at the waterhole played itself out again in his mind. That had been such a moment for him. Discovery...panic...and sheer contentment. He closed his eyes, happy for the first time in a very long time.

The lioness woke up a few hours later, and she groggily pulled her head up to look around. She let out small groans of tiredness as she got to her fours but soon sat down as she hadn't collected herself all together. She saw Auni was sleeping, and Tanga was a little ways away as well asleep. Where Mulfalfa had dissapeared to she didn't know, nor did she particularly care, and Ra was no where to be seen.

She remembered the feeling she had while she was sleeping not from herself but from someone around her. Who was it though, and why did she feel it? Had she done something wrong that she needed to fix or was is because of someone else? Whatever it was, she was curious. Not wanting to wake up the others because of the lack of sleep they all had, she tiptoed away silently to make sure her movements wouldn't disturb their slumbers and when she was far enough away, sped up to a fast paced trot. While she moved along, she eyed all the animals up and about and she was sure that they were unaware that there was a small pride of lions to which she belonged to where near them.

When she looked around some more, she spotted Mulfalfa and saw him laying down. Was he sleeping? She'd better go make sure for herself. So, with that thought, she jogged over and came to a halt when she was close enough. He was either deep in thought or deep in sleep like the rest of them were. Best not disturb him. He must be tired as well. After all, must take a lot of energy being a two-faced twit, she thought to herself before turning away and going back to the others. What my sister sees in him, I'll never know. Even more of a question as to why she hasn't killed him like I want to...

Tanga awoke at around the same time Imani returned. He yawned and stretched, his yawn turning into a pained groan as his neck protested once more.

But despite the pain, Tanga felt immensely refreshed, knowing that a rest like that was exactly what his tired and battered body needed. Careful to avoid turning his neck much, to avoid another outcry from the injured body part, he dragged himself to a sitting position, quickly noticing that neither Ra nor Mufalfa were anywhere to be seen.

He turned, beginning to panic as wondered if Imani and Auni were gone, too...if they had all left him behind. But he saw Auni beside him, and let out a massive sigh of relief. He initially considered talking with his friend, but saw the was asleep...or else just resting, he couldn't really tell...either way, Tanga decided to let him be.

Then he saw Imani coming back into the cave after a walk, and his heart soared. But as he looked at her, and took her visage in once more, he could feel the blush returning to his cheeks as he turned away shyly, not wanting her to notice. Great, he thought. Now I'm going to be a blubbering mess every time I see her.

But his care for her won over, and he managed to smile warmly back up at her. "Hey," he managed to say without sounding like a total idiot. "Sleep well?" was all he found himself sayng, unable to get his half-distracted mind to come up with more.
