Kovu suddenly woke up to find that Kiara was already awake and was sitting right next to him.
"Hey." he said with a sigh. "Are you up already? it's really early." He said turning his head towards Jata and examined his leg.
"You know shes quite lucky... we might have had to cut it off."
He then scanned the den. Everyone else was still asleep.
"Ready for your lesson?" He whispered while getting up and stretching.

Kiara just rolled her eyes as she went on about the lioness, "Yeah let's go" she said happily walking out of the cave

"Mind if we stop by the waterhole? I could use some water." He said, still tired.

"Comeoncomeoncomeonwe'vegotsomehuntingtodo" Kiara said happily, as they left the other lioness

They walked to the waterhole. After Kovu drank some water, "Okay." I'm gonna sit here by the the tall grass over here. You hide in the grass, and wait as much time as you want, when you are ready, try to pounce me. But you have to be as quiet as you can."

"Okay" she said going and hiding in the grass "a miniute later Kiara started her move, breaking some small twigs and knocking some stones, "Gotchya" she said pouncing and missing

Kovu walked up to Kiara who was lying on her back. "Okay, try again, this time try breathing more quietly, wand watch where you move both your back and front legs." He told her as she got up.

"Okay, I'll give it another go" she said going to hide doing the same thing thistime being more careful, and pouncing without shouting

Kovu waited for a few minutes already. He was sure that Kiara was waiting for him to let his guard down. He was still tired, he felt his eyes closing, he was about to fall asleep when Kiara pounced him and pinned him down.
"I'm not fully awake yet." Kovu said trying to tired. "You just got lucky"

Kiara got off and trotted about proudly, "A hunter never let's down their guard" she said mockingly.
