Sadie realized that she may have gone too far with her last remark. "Oh, no! No! I didn't mean to say that you were bad or rotten." She hastily attempted to correct herself, "Just that it doesn't seem like someplace you'd like to spend your whole life."

[Stormy]

“Well.. it’s not, but it’s where I come from anyway.” Flash replied. “My mom wasn’t happy at all with me when I got into to the fight I mentioned. I even got blamed for it from a lot of other lions because they’re all biased.” Flash’s eyes were slightly red, meaning that he was either tired or he had been holding in a lot.

"You look tired. You need to rest." Sadie noted.

[Stormy]

“I’m not going to rest here, though.” Flash responded. “I’m just gonna go to that one cave I found.” Flash pauses. “You can come along, if you’d like. It’s still early in the night, nobody will notice you’re gone, and my pride won’t either, until early morning.”

"Okay, sure." Sadie whispered softly.

[Stormy]

A small smile grows on Flash’s face. “Great. I could use some company anyway. Not like I have any back at the pride. Destiny wanders elsewhere. I don’t even know where.”

"Are you two still on good terms?" Sadie asked.

[Stormy]

“I’d say so.” Flash says as they began to walk off. “Actually, Destiny tried to jump into the fight that happened to help me, but she was pulled out quickly by the lion that came to break up the fight.”

"Well, that's... a sign of progress." Sadie was unsure how to respond.

[Stormy]

“I guess so.” Flash responded. They continued to walk in silence for a while longer.
