"I know, sweetie. I know." She embraced Sadie gently.

[Stormy]

"I don't want to have to keep saying goodbye to Flash." She says as she buried her face into Kayla's fur. "I love him too much for that." She says as her speech was muffled in Kayla's fur. The warm tears could be felt off of Sadie's face.

"He doesn't have to keep leaving. I'm sure he'd be happy to stay. And don't worry about Conal, either."

[Stormy]

Sadie pulls her face away from Kayla. “The only thing is, Conal was right on one thing. Flash wanted to go to his mom. I don’t want to force him to stay. Then it’s ME who’s the bad one.” “I just.. i don’t know. I’m gonna go to get a drink.” Sadie says letting go of Kayla.

"Umm.." Kayla raised an eyebrow. "What kind of drink, exactly?" She asked with a slight smirk.

[Stormy]

Sadie looks at Kayla baffled. “..Water?” Sadie started at Kayla for a few moments trying to understand what Kayla was inferring but nothing clicked. “Ok then..”

"Oh." Kayla chuckled in relief. "For a second I thought... never mind." She began before realizing that Sadie was too young for that conversation for now.

A few moments later it hit Sadie and she looks at Kayla with a slightly disgusted face. “You’re disgusting.” Sadie says sticking out her tongue a bit before she turned around to go get her water.

"God help us when she tries alcohol for the first time." Kayla thought to herself.

“Am I good to come in now?” Jay asks peaking in. N’kalla stumbles inside anyways before Jay just follows in. “Is she okay?” Jay asks. “Sorry about N’kalla. Didn’t think she’d go around touching other people’s stuff. And what was that, anyways? The thing that broke.”
