Mzuri put on a frown, "Are you going to speak or just stand there gawking at me?" The cub said, "But the threat is passed though right?"

Dakari sighed, "Look I'm sorry okay? I'm sorry I was a fool, I'm sorry I got you in this situation, I'm sorry I ruined my chances with the only lioness I could ever love and I'm sorry I'm the worst mate in the world. I just want you to know that I'm sorry." he left, not wanting to be around her with all of those negative emotions. Gakuru nodded, "Yes, we're safe now."

Mzuri felt one moment of regret and followed the sound of Dakari's feet, "Dakari was it my father who made you do it?" The cub nodded but suddenly he said, "Sir there's a shadow over there..." A shadow of a lion appeared.

Dakari stopped and looked around at Mzuri, "Yes." he wanted to say that she would have obviously remembered if she was in control of her body during that time which she wasn't, but he didn't want to sound rude. Gakuru motioned for the cub to get behind him before looking at the shadow, "Who's there?"

Suddenly the shadow said to Gakuru, "Why are you scared of me my son?" Mzuri tried to put on the best smile she could muster though it still looked kinda sad, "I forgive you Dakari. Now you need to forgive yourself."

Gakuru gritted his teeth and growl, "I do not fear those that are dead." Dakari felt as if a very heady rock was lifted from his heart. "You do?" he asked, his ears flattened against his head.

Mzuri sighed, "Yes now can you stop bothering me?" Suddenly however all of the cubs were gone as Gakuru's father laughed, "You should fear me now! You still are a loser my son! I have their cubs!"

Dakari felt a little awkward. "Um... Ruins the moment... Okay..." he walked away. Gakuru sighed in frustration, "How for the love of god?! You're dead!" his life continued to make less and less sense.

Gakuru's father said, "I hope you can explain the unfortunate news to Marini. I can't wait to see that look on her face you loser." Suddenly behind Marini her cubs were there with the note in the ground, "The cubs are safe now. I will help Gakuru. Mufalfa."

Gakuru growled and leaped at the shadow with a roar, but he only went through it without actually doing anything to it. Marini's eyes widened as she suddenly saw her cubs. "Oh my god!" it made absolutely no sense but she was glad they were back. She hugged them both and nuzzled them before noticing the third and slightly older cub. "Uh... who are you?"
