[PRIVATE] Taming the Lioness's Heart

@SnowyCheetah: She had sat there for hours, and she turned her head to see the male was still there. What was his reason for being there? Any other would have left her after five minutes of nothing being said, and the special ones who thought they really stood a chance stayed for maybe half an hour to an hour.

Flashes ran through her head: She was happy, she was carefree, she was in love, and she thought it would last forever. Her best friend was with her and she 'supported' her best friend's decision to be with this man. Little did she know her best friend would take her true love away from her...her true love, Kovu.

Her eyes were distant and they focused on the ground, remembering Kovu's flawless face. His beautiful eyes, strong body, big heart. Until Zira created him to be the ultimate double agent and he broke his promise to return to Adeola and no one else. She could never forgive him or Kiara. He was her first love, and when he left her, a piece of her heart left her too. Doubled with Kiara betraying her, she was in the ultimate phase of hatred towards everyone.

She had gotten better over time. She didn't hate everyone anymore-- just most of everyone.

The lioness got to her feet and galloped through the grass and away from the pride.

Grunge saw Adeola gallop away. Not missing a beat, he sprung to his paws and followed from a great distance, just close enough not to lose sight of her. He didn't want to upset her again by following too close. Without a single word, he diligently followed the lioness wherever she went, thinking only of his heart's desire to be with her. Just being near her made him happy.

@SnowyCheetah: Her paws released her prints in the ground as she released herself from the memories by running. She knew she couldn't run away from her memories, but the running kept them at bay before they would catch to her and act as her ghosts from her past even more than they did when it was a fresh mark on her now cold heart. Adeola ran past Pride Rock and behind it, keeping her eyes on the plains ahead of her and the trees she was jumping through and around.

Stopping, she came to an abrupt halt and breathed in and out briskly, not wanting the thoughts of Kovu and Kiara to return to her. She looked over the water ahead of her and pranced over to it to look at her reflection. There she saw the lioness she had changed into over the years. From being a baby to a cub to a teenager to a young adult, she was here right now. Usually lionesses her age were already having children and happy with the mates they already had. But, she was never one to be part of the norm.

"Hey, it's all part of the job." Naki said playfully. "And anyways, if you want food for free, you've... Don't you even think about it" Naki said sternly. Seeing a confused look on Adeolas face he spoke again. "Nabu, you couldent..." he said ducking as a pouncing nqbu flew overhead rolling over and landing on his back. "Pounce me, I'm better than you." Nabu said playfully again. "Besides, You make too much noise." Naki spoke as he walked towards the king and playfully bumped heads.

"So, Adeola" Nabu said getting up. "How are you enjoying life as being a rouge?" Nabu said looking at Naki "I hope he is treeting you well." he said with the essence of laughter in his voice. Naki however gave Nabu a playfull grin, looking at Adeola, he gave her a sly Do-You-Want-To-Join-Me-Kicking-His-Ass? look. With that he pounced and started play fighting with Nabu. Hoping Adeola would join in. Times like this was when you lernt most about being a rouge.

Kujasuri was dumbfounded on what to do and just nuzzled him for a second and pushed him back to Adeola. "Here I am not good at this sort of thing alright?" He looked ahead and said, "And what in the world do you mean by battered Mzuri around when she was a cub?"

The cub nuzzled a little bit with the male presense but then went right back into the female's arms. He wanted to explore though something inside of him told him not to for he could not see. He felt sleepy again and decided to give it up for the night. He yawned and fell aleep right into the female's arms again. It was nighttime and he was ready to wake up the next day.

Quite thirsty from chasing the lioness, Grunge took a drink from a muddy puddle a moderate distance away. Being an outlander, he was used to drinking impure water. The mud didn't do good things for his stomache, but in a pinch it was necessary. He considered this a pinch, since he was trying not to get too close to Adeola and annoy her. He saw his own reflection in the water he drank from. A young-adult mane and sad, depressed face. Maybe his sullen demeanor was scaring the lioness away from him...

@Nakisisa: She released her tail from him as he went to go and start playing with the king. She smiled sweetly looking at him playing around, but when she was 'asked' to play, she was about to go until she had serious flashbacks about the king back at home. Flashbacks of her and him in the past, and how she lost him to her best friend. He was the true love of Adeola and he pushed her aside. Ever since then, she never looked at it at the same and couldn't wrap her head around it again. "Uhm, I'll catch up with you two later" she said, tears jerking at her eyes and her voice shaken, running off from the wrestling lions.

@VitanisMate: "I know it was you who gave Mzuri the scar on her cheek that one time I came over, you deliberately broke the edge of the waterfall so she would fall in and die, and to top it all off: you're a royal jerk". Perhaps she was still bitter about it all. Her hazel hues glared up at him and wrapped her arms around Ekwu's body to keep him warm.

@SnowyCheetah: She layed down by the water and looked it over once more in her reflection. She was trying to forget about the past, and thrust herself fully into the future but it was difficult to forget something that worked so well. Apparently only for her side. Her head dropped onto her paws, and she breathed out making sure the tears were caged behind her eyes.

Kujasuri looked at her. "Yeah and Mzuri defended me all 3 times. And I also conspired against you from the beginning we met, brought the three sicko lions with me, made flirtatious advances on you, and got Mzuri pregnant. Shall we know all of my sins?" He looked away mad at Adeola for not forgetting the past.

The baby continued sleeping blissfully unaware of the shouting match going on.

@VitanisMate: "You're a real piece of work" she angrily replied. "And I have no idea what my daughter ever saw in you! You, creature!" She roared but remebered the tone of her voice might wake Ekwu from his slumber and she looked down at him to make sure he didn't stir.

Neobi perked his head over to the frenzy Adeola was going at and watched the two. He thought that he should remove Ekwu from the scene but he knew better than to get in the middle of his sister and her protection over a cub hen she was in this state of mind.

Kujasuri looked wanting to be hated. "Real piece of work? Do you want to tell me all of your wrongdoings? At least I said mine!" He looked up at Adeola to tell her the whole truth. "Oh and my first thoughts about you were right after you let me in the pride thinking how much of a fool you were."

The cub not being able to hear as he was born deaf did not wake up but once he felt Adeola move he did. He started crying not knowing why these creatures would wake him up. He went out of her arms and went back to the younger female laying on the ground at least knowing she would not move. He went into her arms.
