Vitani nodded at the king, "Oh, sounds interesting!" She smiled, turning to Mheetu. Her cheek's turned red. "I would love to!" She smiled, unable to control awkwardness around him. Her heart beat faster and faster, she was unsure about the way she felt about Mheetu. Heart saying she loved him, brain saying she has to love Nyembe. "It would be a great bonding time!" She added, butterflies filling her empty stomach.

Delano looked at Jafar. "You really think that?" Jafar nodded. Delano looked outside. Now as as good of a time as anything to go and tell that to Tempesta. "Alright. I'll do it." he said firmly.

He walked outside his den and looked around. Spotting Tempesta, he walked over to her cautiously. "Hey, Tempesta." he said. She looked up at him. He coughed, trying to buy time and remove some of his nervousness. Deciding to tell her was much easier than actually doing it. "How are you feeling?" He asked her as he lay down next to her.

Mheetu let a smile appear, "Good I just have to get this training over with." he added before he stepped back into the middle of the area, he looked to Delano. "You ready?" he asked him, he saw him chatting with Tempesta. Mheetu knew Vitani was watching him and he gulped hoping he didn't loose, he kept remembering Delano's training. He lifted his paws and shook the mud from them that weighed him down.

Marrone looked to Mheetu and nodded, "Delano. Tempesta can wait, its time to train." he said sighing. He sat back to his hinds and looked to them both, "When your ready, begin." he called out.

Tempesta looked to Delano and smiled, "I'll be fine. I almost had you.." she said laughing but was cut off by Mheetu and then Marrone. "Go ahead, go win it for me." she said pushing him out towards Mheetu.

Delano sighed as he was pushed towards Mheetu. He didn't get to tell Tempesta yet, and Marrone wasn't exactly going to give him the time to, either. Delano looked at Mheetu. He noticed the Pridelander looking around, analyzing the area. Delano grinned: Mheetu hadn't forgotten his training.

He nodded at Marrone. "I'm ready." He announced. He felt his heart quicken and his muscles tense. He was going to win, but not for him, but for Tempesta.

Mheetu heard Delano say he was ready and Mheetu charged at Delano, full force throwing his body at him. He just wanted to knock him down, hoping he could get an advantage. Mheetu's paws hit the ground and he sunk into the mud quickly pulling himself out before turning back around to face Delano. His green eyes narrowed slightly and he stepped forward prepared to dodge Delano's next attack.

Marrone watched them go back and forth and he nodded in approval, "It seemed Mheetu has learned something since hes been here." he said outloud. "Keep going!" he ordered.

Tempesta stood to her paws and watched them wearily, closing her eyes everytime Mheetu went after Delano. She wanted to join in but she knew her place was on the sidelines.

Zuwa stuck his tongue out. "Awesome parents? Sure," He joked.

Himili nodded, and joined their hug. "So, what exactly are we going to do? It's no picnic, really. Even for us. Have you anything planned?"

Delano dived to the side as Mheetu charged at him. He got up quickly. Mheetu did learn to look around, but he still favored the charging attack he used on Delano the first time.

Mheetu charged again, and Delano waited for him to jump at him. Instead of rolling to the side again, Delano dropped and rolled on his back, shoving Mheetu away from him. Delano grinned when his move worked at getting Mheetu away. But it didn't work as well as he hoped: Mheetu was able to land on his feet instead of falling over.

Delano quickly wiped off mud off his face with a paw. Mheetu used the opportunity to charge again. Delano wasn't able to act in time, and Mheetu crashed into him, sending both of them rolling. Apparently, Mheetu wasn't prepared to be successful, as he rolled off Delano, and when the got up, once again, both of them were facing each other, neither with an advantage.

"You're learning," Commented Delano. Mheetu was putting up one good fight.

Mheetu smiled, "I learned from the best of the Pride." he said with a chuckle. Mheetu sucked in air and ran towards Delano, he pushed off his back legs putting both paws forward to pounce. His green eyes flashed with fear as the mud below his paws slipped and he lost his footing tumbling to the ground, he growled angrily. He gave Delano a chance to pin him and take the win.

Marrone noticed Mheetu's slip up and he stood to his paws watching the two go at it.

Tempesta's eyes widened as Mheetu slipped in the mud and she padded to Marrone's side, "Go Delano....get him." she whispered softly.

Delano noticed Mheetu slip, but he also notice the lion's fear when the ground became his worst enemy. Ignoring the fact that they were still technically fighting, Delano ran over to help when Mheetu finally lost his balance and fell over heavily. "Mheetu, are you okay?" He asked, concern in his voice.

Mheetu started to get back up. Delano knew what that meant. "Oh. I guess you are. Well in that case..." Nonchalantly, he pushed Mheetu gently back to the muddy ground. "In that case, it looks like I won." He said simply. He grinned at Mheetu. "Good thing you weren't this good when we met. I would have been in trouble, otherwise." he said.

Alma walked out to the fighting lions well the lions who were done fighting now, "Good job everyone." Alma said in a proud tone. "It's great to see how well all this training has done for you." Alma looked at Marrone, "Soon enough they will be strong enough to beat you Marrone." Alma said jokingly before nuzzling Marrone and sitting next to him.
