Siri poked her tongue out at Dakari at the declaration that her 'monster' was a fish. She hopped out of the water and sat on the drier ground. "Yeah, well, fish are evil" she responded, under the impression that she was right about these things. She flicked her tail around for a few moments before looking up at Dakari. "Will you teach me to swim soon, Dakari?" she questioned with hopeful eyes. She probably would have asked him rather than her mother even if she was alive; her mother had hated water almost as much as Mjuvi did, although Mjuvi never admitted it.
The adolescent sighed for what felt like the hundredth time that day. "I would suppose a leopard or a cheetah has made this area as part of their territory, but if we all stay together, which we will, it wouldn't be a threat" he replied thoughtfully. While he was often far from serious, Mjuvi felt that his insight on the way he saw things may help for today at least.
