Arida ran off and panted. Blood dripped from her wounds that had been reopened. "Stupid," she snarled to herself. "Stupid, stupid, stupid!" She sat down and started giving her fur a few shaky licks. "What am I going to do now?" she said miserably.

The wind blew cause it's night time here and I'm sleepy and hungry and don't know what character to use.

Arida kept on licking her wounds until they felt a little better. She walked until she found a den and settled down. "I'm hungry," she complained quietly to herself. Trying to ignore the gaping hole in her belly, she fell asleep.
