"If I have to drag you by the tail." Rangi growled. Light gray claws slid out of their sheaths, and the female lifted her lips to show her fangs, much like a dog would, and let out a snarl.
Behold, the first battle was about to begin.
Let them have fifteen feet of space and make sure to run when they're done with each other.

[Zoketi]

She smirked. "Go ahead." She too unsheathed her claws, and lashed her tail once. Kuruka felt a bit more confidence now that she had an opponent her size. Although Rangi was a bit larger, it wasn't too much, and it was certainly smaller than her former tormentor Nyasi, for one. She narrowed her gaze and straightened instead of crouching, shifting from paw to paw. She'd learned to be quick from Nyasi's attacks, some of which had been simple paw lashes that she in turn became good at dodging.

Kuruka kinked her tail high before lunging out at the other cub, aiming to grapple with her front paws and twist Rangi into a tangle with her.

Her fangs scratched her wrist, and Rangi hissed in pain, but lifted her paw and aimed to slash at Kuruka's eye, and yanked out of her grip, making the cuts grow from little holes to an actual cut. Screeching, she lounged and aimed to grab Kuruka's back, but fell flat, only one claw touching her back. Sliding under, she aimed to kick Kuruka and have a little "I Believe I Can Fly" moment.

[Zoketi]

Kuruka leaned away, narrowing missing the claws. She shook her head and crouched down, driving her claws forwards. As Rangi slid beneath her, she sunk her claws onto the other cub's chest so that she wasn't sent flying when Rangi kicked. She merely jerked a little, head tossing, and then leaned down and then pummeled at her opponent's stomach with her hind paws, in rabbit-kick style.

Crawling out of the way, Rangi leaped and aimed to land on Kuruka's back. And since I don't really know what to type right now that was it.

She backed up and then let out a huff of breath as she felt Rangi land on her. She wriggled around, rolling and trying to squish the other cub's paws beneath her side as she pressed into the ground. Kuruka let out a soft snarl and pulled herself free before spinning around and slashing her forepaws at Rangi's chest and face.

Chest? Dodged? Face? Barely dodged, but she got a would on her chin. Snarling, she let out the most adult sounding roar she could an leaped forward, aiming to knock down and pin Kuruka to the ground, ending the fight.

The darker cub jerked back and felt herself being flipped backwards as Rangi jumped down. She hissed softly and thrust up her paws as she hit the ground, hoping that Rangi's momentum would carry her straight down onto Kuruka's claws. She was getting tired, but she didn't simply want to be pinned down, as she had been so many times before. The rage still fueled her.

Taking a little om nom for the scar on her ear, Rangi jumped off, aimed to grab Kuruka's tail and start to drag her.
You thought she was kidding, didn't you?
Well, no.

[I didn't actually. xD]

Kuruka swatted a paw at the other cub, then jerked up and rolled to her paws as Rangi got off. She shook her pelt, then tensed again as she felt teeth on her tail. With an outraged screech, she tugged against her opponent and sat down with a furious thump on the ground. Her front paws kicked pebbles at Rangi, and she dug her hind paws into the ground, forcing her weight to keep her still.
