Kovu watched as Hatari walked away. He then turned back to Kiara and his son. "Well, let's go and get something to eat, shall we?" he said, smiling.

Meanwhile, Hatari settled herself in the deepest, darkest corner of the cave. And she did something she wouldn't have expected. She cried. She cried for a very long while before finally crying herself to sleep.
