Ranger started squirming the second he heard the word 'bath' out of his mother's mouth. He whined,
"Moom! Really?! I haven't gotten that dirty so far today!"
Turning to his father, he asked,
"Hey, dad, why were you telling Simba about the Elephant Graveyard? Isn't that kinda outside the Pridelands borders?," he added, starting to wonder why his father would tell Simba about such a horrible place.

Zira then began to lick Ranger's head. "Annoying little cubs get annoying little bathes" she said before raises her brows when she heard his questions. She stopped licking him and looked up at Scar.

Simba, unaware of what Scar was telling Ranger, continued to press Nala. "Come on, Nala, this place is awesome," he said, hoping that she would come on and leave with him.

Sarabi was somewhat on to him. "And just where is this 'awesome' place?" she asked.

Simba realized the flaw in his plan. "Uh...around the waterhole," he lied.

Nala gave an unimpressed look at Simba and replied,
"The waterhole? What's so great about the waterhole?".

Simba frowned. "I'll show you when we get there," he answered.

Nala then smiled,
"Oh...", she paused for a moment, wondering where they were going. She then turned to her mother, Sarafina, and grinned widely giving her hopeful eyes,
"Mom, can I go with Simba?".

Sarafina frowned,
"Nala, you've just had a bath...". However, her daughter's hopeful eyes made her reconsider. "Oh...ok. What do you think Sarabi?".

Meanwhile, Scar had heard the question his son asked him. He looked at Zira, before looking at his son again.
"Ranger...would you like to be a King one day? If so, then I suggest you speak no more about it. I've told you not to ask questions, you don't want to become as annoying as your cousin now, do you?", he replied, glaring at him.

Sarabi thought about it for a second. "I guess it's ok, but only if you take Zazu with you."

Simba pouted. "No, not Zazu!" he whined, but, noticing the look his mother was giving him, he said nothing else. He looked at Nala. "Come on, Nala. Let's get Zazu," he said.

Ranger came to his cousin's defense.
"Simba's not annoying! Ok, well, maybe a little. And no, I don't want to be as annoying as he is."
He thought to himself, why does my father not want me asking questions all of a sudden? Is he up to something?
