A Friend! (Private)

Simba went to the tallest tree around and started to climb it. After a while, he heard Kamari shout something about heights. He looked down and his eyes bulged at how far away the ground seemed. He got to a branch where can stand up normally and looked down more properly. He waved a paw at Kamari, and then spotted Timon and Pumbaa eating grub from an overturned log. Hey, Timon when did you get so small? he shouted over. He went back to trunk to climb up even farther. It was scary at first, now it was fun.

Pumbaa stopped eating when he heard Simba shout something. He turned towards the direction where Simba's voice came from, but didn't see the lion. Err, Timon, when did Simba turn invisible? he asked when he couldn't find the lion cub.

[Daenerys]

"What about me being smaller? Have I lost weight????" Timon turned around and looked for Simba "Simba? Simba!!!" Timon kept looking around.

"If you get stuck up there I won't be able to come get you!" Kamari shouted as loud as he could. Simba just laughed and kept climbing. "Simba I don't think that's a good idea!!"

Simba stepped on another branch and looked down. Kamari was looking rather worried now, and Timon and Pumbaa were looking everywhere for him. Up here, guys! This is fun! By now, the branches were close enough to jump on them without requiring to climb on the main trunk. You guys look like ants down there!. What he had yet to realize was how to get back down. Right now, there was more tree to climb.

Pumbaa spotted Simba on the tree. Uh, Timon.. he started saying with worry in his voice.

OCC: I gotta go now I'll be on later though

"Simba, uh, I think you should come down now!" Kamari yelled. "HEY KID! GET DOWN FROM THERE!!" Timon yelled. "NONE OF US WILL BE ABLE TO COME GET YOU IF YOU GET STUCK UP THERE!! IF YOU DO YOU'LL HAVE TO JUMP!!" Timon yelled as loud as his little meerkat body could.

Simba laughed. Not if I can help it! he jumped on another branch. From where he was, even Pumbaa looked tiny. Other trees had their tops below him. You can see so much from up here! he shouted down. This was exhilarating.

Simba laughed as he jumped on another branch, and let out a surprised yelp as it cracked under his weight. He quickly pushed off it and jumped at the trunk, hugging it with all his might for life. Suddenly climbing the tree didn't seem so fun anymore. Slowly, he started his way back down.

Pumbaa watched in horror as Simba nearly fell when the branch cracked and gave away under him. Get down now, Simba! he shouted. he felt relief when Simba jumped to the trunk as started making his way back down.

Kamari started breathing really fast. "Simba be careful!!!" Kamari shouted. He now knew the branches could only hold his weight ONE time. So, he was nervous as he slowly started his way down. The trunk was strong but the branches weren't so he was very nervous. "Kid! Be careful! Don't step on any branches that look too small!!" Timon yelled. He had now gotten on top of Pumbaa to make sure Simba heard him better.

Simba gained more speed as he hurried to get down the tree. This was a bad move as he lost his grip and slid down several feet, the bark burning against his paws as he struggled to force his claws in the wood and slow down. From below him, he heard the others cry out in worry, but he also detected some anger in Timon's voice.

More careful this time, he climbed down the last bit of tree. He went over to Timon and Pumbaa. Kamari was with them. Kamari and Pumbaa looked worried, but Timon looked furious, even intimidating on top of Pumbaa's head.

Pumbaa looked down at Simba with concern What were you thinking, climbing up that tree? he asked. He wanted to feel angry, but Simba's flattened ears and ashamed face made him incapable of that emotion.

Timon was raging. "DON'T LET ME FIND YOU CLIMBING ANOTHER TREE AGAIN KID!!" Kamari just looked at Timon. "Come on Timon it's not his fault the tree was weak." Kamari went over to Simba and patted his shoulder. "Right buddy?"

Simba laughed a little to calm himself down and reassure Kamari. That one branch was problematic. The tree was fine. It's not my fault it broke. besides, the climbing was fun. Simba saw that that was the wrong answer for both Timon and Pumbaa. There was no laughing his way out this time.

Pumbaa tried to rephrase Timon's demand. Simba, you could have gotten seriously hurt by falling. Please don't climb trees anymore. We can't get to you, and we can't help you if you fall. Please don't climb anymore, okay? Judging by Simba's expression, along with a small nod of his head, the lion seemed to get the message.

[Daenerys]

"Yeah. Please don't do it again Simba. I don't want to get the only friend I've every known hurt." he patted his shoulder. "Come on Timon don't be so hard on him." Timon crossed his arms. "Just....don't do it again kid." Simba nodded. "Anyways, let's go get a drink. How about it Simba?" Kamari started walking towards the river, but then stopped. "Have you gone swimmin'?"
