"Yes, it really is," Cheza said. For the first time since being chased away, the young lion allowed himself to enjoy the scenery. Now that he wasn't concerned about survival, he could enjoy the scenery.

Kipekee looked over into Cheza's turquoise eye's, her own pink eye's glistening. For the first time that week, she noticed how handsome Cheza was.

Cheza noticed Kipekee looking into his eyes. In the time that he had been with her, he had begun to notice that she was a good-looking lioness. "What?" he asked.

Kipekee blushed. "Oh nothing" she said nervously, shifted around. She looked back up, "Hey, did your mum ever tell you about the Great Kings of the Past?" she asked, trying to change the subject.

"Yes, she did. She told me that if I ever felt alone, they would be there to guide me," Cheza replied, going along with the subject change. He remembered the evening that his mother had told him of the great kings. He had been a cub at the time, and he remembered eagerly listening to her words.

"Mine said that to, all the Kings, from our Pride and your Pride must be up there eh?" she replied. Kipekee stretched out but accidentally brushed lips with Cheza. "I'm so sorry" but Kipekee noticed all Cheza was doing was smiling.

"No need to be sorry," Cheza told her. When it had happened, he had actually enjoyed it. He continued smiling at her.

Kipekee beamed. "You now Cheza" she began, "Your rather handsome" she said shyly. She hoped he felt the same about her, "God bless me if he doesn't after this" Kipekee thought.

Cheza was very happy right now. "Well, you're very beautiful. Perhaps the great kings wanted us to come together," he said, knowing that he indeed liked her as more than a friend.

Kipekee flushed with happiness. "Suppose they do" she said, gazing at Cheza, she lent over and gave him a peck on the cheek.
