Kovu jumped into action, sending Zazu to fetch Rafiki. He then turned to Kiara. "Stay calm and breath. Zazu is going to get Rafiki," he told her.

"O..o..ok" Kiara said, struggling to keep her breath steady. She started to feel it happening. She reached out and squeezed Kovu's paw.

"Don't worry, my love," Kovu told her, gently squeezing her paw in return. Inside, he hoped that Rafiki arrived soon.

"Kovu, Kovu, KOVU!!!" Kiara shouted. Rafiki was too late. Kiara had given birth to her first cub. In fact, she had given birth to the second and the third before Rafiki arrived. "Show me my babies" Kiara said weakly. "Kovu come and look"

Kovu came and looked upon his new cubs. It was the happiest moment of his life. "Kiara, they're beautiful," he stated.

Kiara smiled. She looked down on her cubs. "Two boys, one girl Kovu" she said, smiling.

Kovu smiled. "This is the best day of my life," he said.

Kiara looked up at Kovu "Mine too". Rafiki came up to Kiara, "My Queen, how are you feeling?" he asked. "Much better thanks" Kiara replied. "Now my highness, we need names for the cubs". Rafiki reached down and held the first born. He was an yellow/orange colour with a brown under-belly, tail tuft and paws. He had deep blue eyes. "His name is Nguvu" Kiara said. Then Rafiki picked up the second born, it was the girl. She had dark brown fur like Kovu, a black under-belly and black paws. She had a black tail tuft and emerald green eyes. "Her name is Shia" Kiara said. Then finally, Rafiki picked up the last cub, another boy. He had deep orange fur with a peach under-belly. He had a reddish brown tail tuft and a little reddish brown tuft on his head like Kovu. "His name is Durba", "So Kovu, what do you think of the name, do you like them?" Kiara added.

"I love them. Every single one," Kovu replied.

Kiara smiled, she giggled as she felt the cubs suckle. A few days later it was time for the cubs to be presented. Kiara picked up one of her cubs while Kovu picked up the other 2. She walked towards Rafiki, who she could see at the tip of Pride Rock. She felt the wind ruffle her fur, she looked at Kovu and said while they were walking, "I've been dreaming of this moment"
