As Tanga reached the gate, he found the cub lying right by it, not moving. Fearing the worst, he picked up the pace, running to the cub's side. Placing a paw against the cub's small chest, he felt the steady, if slow heartbeat, and the low breathing. Sighing with relief, but wondering what could have knocked the cub out cold like that, Tanga quickly looked the cub over for any sign that something had caused him to lose consciousness.
He was distracted from that when he saw the cub's paw, and the broken claw residing there. It looked painful, and Tanga felt like it should be removed, but had no idea whether that was the right course of action...he was no healer. Deciding it was probably for the best if the cub was moved away from the gate, since he assumed that he had broken his claw trying to get out, he picked the unconscious cub up in his mouth, carrying him back to where Makali and Kulinda...he just hoped one of the two of them knew what to do.

Tyson smiled as Shane suggested the golden one be named King. "I always thought that one was too quiet to be a king...he seems to defer to that really interesting-looking one all the time."
But he was once again distracted as he saw Tanga picked Daxis up. "Hmm..." he mused, grabbing a set of binoculars and training them on Tanga, getting better view. "Wonder what he's doing with the little one?"
He was not worried about Tanga hurting Daxis...he knew that the golden lion was a rather gentle one...he had never seen him act aggressively towards them, even, which had surprised him initially.
