Conal returned the hug with gusto. "No, Sadie. If anyone should be apologizing, it's me." He refuted.

[Stormy]

Sadie shook her head. “No. Because everything you told me was fair warning. I was just ignorant and stupid to completely disregard everything you told me because I thought I was right about everything.” She says, her face still buried. “I’ve done some stupid things.”

"I should have been less cold and more open minded. I wanted to keep you safe, but there were just so many times I took it too far." He replied.

[Stormy]

“There’s this one thing Jay warned me about when Flash was going to come back to the pride... Jay decided to give me ‘the talk’” Sadie says gently releasing the hug and wiping her face with her paw. “And uhm... I planned on not saying anything until later... but since you only have a week..” Sadie looks back to Conal. “I am... I... I’m....”

Sadie tried to say what she wanted to say, but it was harder than she thought it was going to be. Especially telling it to Conal.

"Go ahead. Whatever it is, I promise I won't get mad."

[Stormy]

Sadie took one of Conal’s paws. “I’m....” Sadie paused for a few moments. “I’m pregnant.” She said lightly. This caused both Kayla & Flash to turn their heads, as even Flash wasn’t aware of it at that moment. Flash’s eyes widened, he was shocked this was his first time hearing it.

“I went to the Doc yesterday after I was feeling off. He confirmed it.” She continued lightly. “Based on pattern of the last few generations of leadership, he thinks it’ll be a boy.” Sadie attempted to give off a faint smile, but she wasn’t aware how Conal was going to react to it.

"Sadie...." Conal paused, still thunderstruck at the revelation
"That's.... wonderful news!" He finished.

[Stormy]

Sadie nearly fainted in relief as she was finally able to breathe after his reaction. "I'm glad you think so."

[TheLastLion]

Conal wrapped Sadie and Flash in a warm hug. "Congratulations to you both! So, have you tossed around any ideas for what his name might be?"

[Stormy]

Flash was still in his own type of shock. "Beats me... you've known just as long as I have.." Flash replied. Sadie chucked nervously. "Yeah... sorry. But no.. I don't have an exact idea right now."
