The new danger in the land

Nuru: ....Better....a little....Grandma's taking good care of me....and so is Mufasa!

Marini smiled. "You two are simply the cutest when you're all snuggling like that." She brought the kill closer to them. "Here you go, you can eat." She motioned for Sarabi to join them.

[Adofo]

Nuru started tearing in to the food.

Back away from Priderock, Tua slowly awoke as he was being dragged away. He had vines that tied his paws together. And a hunk of wood tied to his face so he couldn't yell for help. He then smelled the air and got a clear scent....hyenas. He looked down to where he was being dragged and he saw Scar's three little ex-minions dragging him away from his home.

While Marini and her cubs were just starting their meal, Lin and Crystal were already done with theirs. "So," The white lion looked at his mate with that toothy grin of his, "I still haven't had a proper tour of the Pridelands... Think you could help out?"

(I was just thinking... How do the others find out about all of this?)

[Adofo]

(They go looking, they find a spot where he gets dragged away in the dirt and also, the hyenas will stop and he'll scratch something on a big nearby rock and when they start dragging him away again he'll draw an arrow of the direction they are going.)

Crystal: Sure thing!

Lin rubbed his head against his mate's as they walked out of the den. "I bet you know some wonderful spots."

Crystal: You bet!

Nuru: Mommy? ....Can you tell us a story about how you and Daddy grew up?

Lin grinned. "Sweet!" He gave Crystal a quick nibble on the ear, wrapping his tail around hers.

Marini smiled at her two cubs. "Well..." She'd already told them about the lack of food and the hyenas that were all over the place. "I've already told you about that plenty of times, but..."

Nuru: PAHLEAAAASSSSSEE!?!?!

Lin looked at Crystal as they walked, ocassionally nuzzling her but mostly admiring her beauty. "So where are we going?" he asked with a smile.

Marini sighed and chuckled. "Alright..." She then began to tell them the exact same story she'd told them many times before. It amazed her how they never grew tired.of it.
