"She... oh." Tabasamu nodded. "I... I understand. Poor Adena. So do you want to go hunting, Dad?"

Adofo: Yeah sur-......did.....you just call me dad?

"Uh... yeah. Why?" Tabasamu asked.

Adofo: ......That's the first time out of any of you three.....have you ever called me your father! .........I'm just..........it's like a weird version of joy......I can't really explain it.

Taba smiled. "Well... let's go... Dad." She bounded away.

Adofo quickly dragged over half of a zebra to Adena.
Adofo: Okay. Adena, i want you to finish this zebra before I get back. Just go slow. I'm gonna be gone for a little while so I want there to be nothing but hooves and bone when i get back. Okay? And I won't be too far away. If you need me, just shout. And Uncle Simba will stand guard right outside the cave! Okay baby?

Adena nodded tiredly. She took the zebra between her thin paws and started to gnaw on the zebra meat.

Adofo then went out hunting with his three cubs.
