Flash could notice that Carson's demeanor had changed significantly after he narrowly avoided losing his grip on the rock altogether. Any signs of bravado were beginning to fade away.

[Stormy]

“So..” Carson continued. “What are we still doing here? You going to kill me or what?”

[TheLastLion]

"I'm still mulling over whether or not I should kill you or let gravity do it for me." As he spoke, Flash smiled at Carson with sinister intent. And if the fearful look in Carson's eyes was any indication, it was working.

[Stormy]

“Oh, but I’d much rather meet my demise by the paws of you. Oh, great and powerful.” Carson slightly smirked.

[TheLastLion]

Flash said nothing and watched Carson struggle. The smug facade he put on was beginning to fade.

[Stormy]

“Well.... suit yourself...” Carson replied looking like he was going to just let go himself, not that he saw anyway out of it.

(I won't lie, I was hoping we could approach this scene differently.)

(I thought we could have Carson turn out to be a coward who begs Flash to help him. Flash agrees, but only if Carson never shows his face in the pride again.)

Soon after Carson swiped, he looked considerably more nervous than before.
