“They’re gone. Conal wouldn’t let me bring them back anyways. Jay, I lost someone I was just getting to finally know.. and someone I... I loved a lot.”

[TheLastLion]

"I should have figured that he'd be a dick about this. I swear I'll-" Jay looks back down at the distraught Sadie and softens his tone immediately. "Don't worry, we'll bring them back. But first, let's pay Conal a visit."

[Stormy]

“I really don’t want to see him right now Jay...”

[TheLastLion]

"That's okay, I can talk to him. I promise I won't be too harsh on him."

[Stormy]

“I don’t care if you’re harsh on him. He’d be lucky to even be here when I’m Queen.” She growls.

[TheLastLion]

"Okay." Jay replies. "It's nice to see you again, Sadie. Though I wish it were under better circumstances."

[Stormy]

“I guess.” Sadie replies.

Jay decides to change the mood. “I’d like you to meet someone. Or two.” Jay says as he lets one newly born cub off his back and Saige lets the other come off hers. They were both asleep. It was clear they had been born not very long ago considering how very small they were.

Sadie gasps and widens her eyes. "Aww, Jay! They're adorable!" she whispers, trying not to wake the cubs.
