[PRIVATE] Taming the Lioness's Heart

The cub tried to feel warmth in the female's arms but did not. He then started to cry for the older female but he did not sense she was there. He then started to cry as if there was no tomorrow.

He did not want to go into any other female's arms besides hers. He started to wander blindly trying to sense her presense somewhere. When he did not he erupted into an enormous cry that the whole land could hear ten times over wondering why the female would abandon him while he was alone.

@Nakisisa: "Gee thanks" she growled. Quickly, she thrashed the lions off of her and stood ready to attack if she needed. She of course, wasn't going to kill anyone, but she was going to fight to show her dominance. Though she was new, she would show that she was the dominant one and not to be messed with.

To warn them, she let out a loud roar that scared them off. Once the uproar was done, she snorted out and whipped her tail on the ground to make a cloud of dust and a loud sound.

@VitanisMate: When she heard the cubs cries, her maternal instinct kicked in and she ran right back to him. "I'm here, Ekwu. I'm here".

The cub came over to her content that he was ready to sleep now. Soon enough he fell asleep right in her arms in no time.

Kujasuri whispered to Adeola as not to disturb the cub, "Adeola did you see this birthmark on Mzuri? What do you think that means?" He then started to deal with another subject that Adeola would be upset about. "Um when he gets older what are we going to tell the kid about his mother? I mean we cannot lie to him. We have to tell him the truth." He looked away still looking at Mzuri's dead body. Kujasuri wanted to hug his son but knew he was sleeping and did not want to disturb him.

"Your Right, she is a fistey one" the king said. "Nabu, it's been too long" Naki said embracing the king, "Adeola, come here please, this is the king, Nabu, Adeola" he whispered into his ear "My student"

@VitanisMate: Adeola wrapped her arms around the cub and put her paw over his eyes so the glaring sun wouldn't disturb his slumber.

When Kujasuri spoke of Mzuri, she knew she couldn't run away from the subject as Ekwu would probably start crying again. "You're his father. You'll think of something to tell him when the time comes" she replied, giving a smooth lick to her grandson and resting her head down beside the head of Ekwu.

@Nakisisa: Adeola lifted her head up and shook her pelt, crossing through the hunters. Some of them, she bumped shoulders with and she snarled to let them know to stay in their places as she walked over. She heard the whisper and dropped her jaw with a look, "thanks" she said to Naki.

Her hazels looked over to Nabu, as Naki called him, and smiled, "hi, nice to meet you. I'm Adeola...as you already know from the lion who apparently can't let me introduce myself". She sounded like she was joking.

"come on Ade, your a rouge now, got to keep you whits" he said playfully hitting the king in the stomach "About you." he stopped talking and walked towards her, nuzzling her. And whispering into her ear "I'm sorry, it was a bad trick i know, but did it teach you a lesson?" he asked still nuzzling her

@Nakisisa: She nuzzled him back with an affectionate laugh and whispered back to him, "here's a lesson for you" she nipped his ear a little more harder than the last time, "I don't like surprises". She looked back at Nabu and smiled innocently.

The cub slept peacefully not hearing any sounds at all for he was so sleepy. He snuggled even harder along the older female sensing he would be closer to this one than the other one laying down.

Kujasuri laughed nervously saying, "Yeah sure. Anyway did you see Mzuri's birthmark. It looks like a triangle right above her head. You have to wonder what that means and whether it has anything to do with the events that have transpired."

@VitanisMate: "You were her mate. You spent a year with her. Aren't these things you should know about her better than her mother would for only having her for a short period of time?" She questioned. Her voice was bitter still, but there was no sense in being like that since Mzuri was gone and only happy thoughts should be coursing through the broken mother's mind right now about her late daughter.

"Hey" he said warningly. "What did you think being a rouge was all about? Tea and invites?" naki said also nipping ade's ears and licking her nose. Looking at her, he thought one day, she would make a good rouge, but she would need a lot of work. "Ade" naki said grasping her tail with his own. "Do you fancy staying here for the night or just for lunch?" Naki asked, nit noticing Nabu who was walking up behind them.

"So how long have you two love birds known each other?" Nabu asked playfully. "And Adeola, do you mind not annoying my hunting party?" he said.
