“That’s what YOU said. Why can’t you just go back home? You seemed to be doing perfectly fine when I ran into you.”

[TheLastLion]

"Because I..." she hesitates. "Because I don't want to leave my.. my friends."

[Stormy]

Conal sighs and looks down. He then turns around and walks off. "I'll be back. Just give me a little bit."

"I-i promise you Kayla he was not always l-liike this. H-hes a really sweet and kind lion. It's just that incident. It changed him almost completely. I-i just hope we can get that lion back to his former self." Jay says while fighting off the extreme pain from his leg and from the fight.

Kayla moves fast to apply aloe on Jay's injuries.

[Stormy]

Sometime later when it was darker out - Conal arrives at a part of the forest where the trees are more open and he is able to look up into the night sky.

"He's been gone a while. I'm worried." Kayla continues tending to Jay.

[Stormy]

“Perhaps we should look for him?” Jay suggests.

[TheLastLion]

"No, you need to rest." Kayla urges him to not put any more of a strain on his body. "I'll go look for him." She suggests.

[Stormy]

“Are you sure? .. Be careful then.” Jay says concerned.
