Hahaha first thing I need is a Queen. Then find followers. I was hoping you would like to be my Queen.

Nova halted, the ground giving way beneath her and curling. She blinked and looked up at Mio. Had he said what she thought he had said? He wanted her to be his mate? Why her? What was attractive about her both appearance and personality? Nova looked to the floor awkwardly. Every second felt like an hour. She took a deep breath and allowed the words to settle in her mind. Nova opened her eyes and bounded over to Mio, placing her head under his.

"I would be honoured" She whispered happily.

Yeah, I did not know what to think. I was worried you would say no. Well that is great we are on our way to begin a great life together with our own pride. No one telling us what we need to do. Mio was excited that she said yes he was happy and his tail swishing around. He almost jumped for joy, but that would have been childish. Mio remained calm which was not always easy for him.

[Tora]

"I guess that is something we have in common." Shinova sighed. "No real family to return to." Shinova felt Meeko's uneasy feeling, and wanted to lighten the moment. He continued to walk until they stumbled upon a colossus of a tree. "Is this the tree you were talking about?" Shinova asked.

[Shadowfax]

Nova laughed and pulled away. She felt an odd wave of happiness over her.

"So, shall we go and find something to eat?" She asked, swishing her tail.

Meeko looked up when Shinova came to a halt and smiled.

"Yep! These are the ones. Let's see how well lion cubs can climb trees then" He laughed, leaping off Shinova's back.

[Tora]

Shinova studied the tree. "How to get up this thing. Hmm lets try these vines." Shinova began to grip the vines with his claws. He began to climb slowly, but then a vine snapped. "Oh good.." Shinova shouted as he gripped another vine. "This must be easy for you isn't it?" Shinova asked Meeko after regaining his balance.

[Shadowfax]

Meeko scurried up the tree with ease and was already up on a branch when Shinova had started climbing.

"Practice makes perfect" Meeko called down to the cub.

He winced as Shinova's vine snapped, but was relieved to see he kept his balance and grabbed another one.

"Try pulling yourself up with the vines" He yelled down the tree.

[Tora]

Shinova had latched on to some fairly sturdy vines. Hard on him he pushed forward knowing when he reached his destination he would be rewarded with an awesome view. He finally reached the branch which Meeko was perched up on. Breathing heavily he said "When I get older this is going to be impossible. How do you Meerkats do it?"

Mio said sure. Why not I am hungry. So what do you think we should do for followers. Also we should mark our land. Any other ideas?

[Shadowfax]

Meeko waited for Shinova to join him, then looked around the clearing. This vantage point was rather nice and he took in the views for a moment before answering Shinova's question.

"Well. I guess i've had alot of practice and we've got smaller paws than lions so we find it easier to grip" He said, studying his hands.

Suddenly his heart leapt into his mouth as he stared down below them. A leopard was walking through the clearing. It had picked up their scent.


Nova raised an eyebrow.

"I doubt very much any lions would want to settle here. It's too unnatural for them" She said thoughtfully.

"As for followers... We could just take in rogues I guess with no life or sad pasts"
