“Have had better ones.”

[TheLastLion]

"Who were those guys? The ones that did this to you. Who is that one Lion that seems obsessed with tormenting you?"

[Stormy]

Conal takes a moment to say anything. “What?” Conal had clearly been deprived of any rest.

[TheLastLion]

"Nothing. Just get some rest."

[Stormy]

Jay watches as Conal quickly falls asleep almost instantly. “He would have died if we had gone any later.” Jay now feeling guilty for almost not going at all.

[TheLastLion]

"It wasn't your fault. If anything, be grateful that you got to him when you did." Kayla consoles him. "But I have to know, sho was the lion that attacked him in the first place?"

[Stormy]

“There was only one that I knew. I don’t know if you’re talking about the same lion, but one of them used to be part of our pride. Conal has told you the story about the lion trying to overtake the king. Same lion.”

[TheLastLion]

"What was his name and why does he seem so obsessed with Conal?"

[Stormy]

“Parker. If I remember correctly. As to why he’s so obsessed with Conal - well. You’re gonna have to learn a bit more about life before we met you. Baaack to the time when Conal and I were still here, and Parker. Conal and Parker actually did have a friendship, not as close as him and I at the time, but still friends nonetheless.” Jay pauses for a moment. “Now, this comes to the part where I left, I was gone when the whole thing went down, but this makes the most sense to me. Parker of course wanted to kill the king. He had done it at this specific time because he knew the Queen was expecting little Sadie. Anyways, Conal obviously wasn’t on board with this and I guess when Conal had tried to fight him to stop him, you know. I guess Parker has the thoughts that Conal was the only reason he wasn’t able to follow through with his plan.”
