[Stormy]

Nicki slowly cuddled up to her sister, almost as if to make herself feel safer there.

[TheLastLion]

"Sweet dreams, Nicki." Kaylee said gently.

[Stormy]

As Nicki closed her eyes, she asked Kaylee one last question. “Are you still angry at Snowfall?” She asks suddenly. “I heard the night you were mad. You weren’t exactly quiet about it. I heard everything you said to him.”

[TheLastLion]

"I... I was angry at him... at that moment in time." Kaylee said. "But I felt bad about chewing him out like that and blaming him for something that wasn't his fault."

[Stormy]

“I know you didn’t mean a lot of the things you said to him. You sounded more hurt than anything else trying to stick up for me.” She says before yawning. “Just wanted to know if you still were.”

[TheLastLion]

"Anyways, good night."

[Stormy]

“Night.. love you..” She quietly says before attempting to go back to sleep.

[TheLastLion]

"Love you too, sis."

[Stormy]

They both eventually dozed off until the next morning when Kaylee was the first to wake up. Nicki was still cuddled up to Kaylee, so Kaylee’s movement would likely awake her.

Kaylee said nothing and continued to rest with Nicki nuzzled in her arms.
