Fadhili gave a fake smile, "What a shame. How is it knowing that I'll never love you?"

The son laughed, "I do not need love. I just need to have cubs and I need studs for that."

Fadhili again huffed and just decided to ignore him.

The son got angry and tossed her down. "A lioness speaks when spoken to. Lionesses are like ants, dumb and obedient!"

This time Fadhili striked him back. She smacked him hard across the jaw and quickly regretted not using her claws. "No more!" she said with a growl. Without the son noticing she took a rock and threw it at Dakari's head.

The son said, "Father, Dakari help here please!" Mzuri and the son held Fadhili down. "You'll learn respect around here." The son laughed and brought a burning piece of wood. The father laughed and said, "Put it right into her heart."

Once the son released the hold of one of his paws in order to hold the wood, Fadhili took advantage of the fact that the father was in an adolescent's body and just shook him off. She swiped at the piece of wood so that it flew out of his hand and right into his face. Without waiting to see what happened she nudged Dakari, "Come on!" they both ran out of the den as fast as they could and towards the location of Mufalfa's pride.
