[Stormy]

“Dead.” Nicki replied.

“Almost to the doc.” Flash says. They eventually arrive to the doc and Sadie gently placed Nicki down for them to take a look.

[TheLastLion]

"How bad is it, doc?" Sadie asked. "How worried should we be?"

[Stormy]

"Concussion, broken right paw, and maybe something internal that I cannot quite see." The doc replied. "None of which should be fatal, however.. that broken paw looks pretty bad. Not sure how well it'll heal."

[TheLastLion]

"Can it fully heal so long as she gets the rest she needs?" Kaylee followed up.

[Stormy]

"Only time will tell that. I wouldn't be overly confident. Whatever fall she made she must've really hit it full force. She should be able to do whatever still even without the paw. She just can't put pressure on it." The doc explains. "As for the concussion, that's just rest and not moving around too much. The internal thing... I have no idea what'll happen with that since I can't actually see it. That will also be something we figure out with time. How high did she fall from, anyway?" The doc asked. "This seems extreme for one fall."

[TheLastLion]

"She fell from a tree...." Kaylee said sheepishly. "And hit a few branches on the way down."

[Stormy]

The doc thought for a moment. “I suspect then the broken paw was from hitting the ground or landing on her paw, and the concussion and internal may be from slamming her head and body into the other branches.”

[TheLastLion]

"Would a cast do anything to help?" Flash asked.

[Stormy]

“A cast would not force it to heal, but it would help her not apply pressure to it and keep it in once place. If that’s what you want to do. It is not required.”

Kaylee only looks to her sleeping sister, who was only put to sleep because she was getting fidgety when the doctor was trying to inspect her.
