Shadow: How are we gonna know when it goes down?

[Kipekee]

"When it lets us through."

[Adofo]

Shadow: Then we wait.

[Kipekee]

Zango nodded, but then he heard familiar voices in the distance.

"Zavok knows what's going on."
"He wants them to leave."
"Kipekee doesn't even want to acknowledge Shadow and Zavok knows Zango is weak."
"He's willing to make an exception for them."
"Zavok really wants that shield down. He was mad!"

Zango hid in the bushes, hoping Shadow followed him. Zomom, Zazz, Zeena and 2 other demons were on patrol to take the shield down. Zango looked at Shadow as if begging him not to say anything.

[Adofo]

Shadow didn't cower. He walked straight up to the group.
Shadow: I heard you all talking. I'm not leaving because of Zavok. In fact, I was actually wanting his and my future pride to be allies. The only reason I'm leaving is because.........Kipekee no longer considers me her older brother. ......So why stay?!

[Kipekee]

Zazz rolled his eyes. "He would've kicked you out sooner or later anyway. Move it, we're takin' ze shield down! Yeehaw!"
The pink lion ran ahead.

[Adofo]

Shadow: Can you do one last thing for me? ...Tell Kipekee....I love her...and I'm gonna miss her. But I still hope...SOMEHOW...she can come see me.

[Kipekee]

Zeena nodded. "Of course."

[Adofo]

Shadow: Thank you!

[Kipekee]

Zeena nodded. "No problem."
