Zavok flicked his ears forward. "Hmm..."
"Father?" Zara sat down when she noticed her father calming down a little. "You know how me and Zephyr always fall asleep when you set yourself on fire as a dragon and hold us in your arms?"
Zavok's eyes shifted to his eldest daughter, but he did not move. He was deeply thinking.
"And your lullaby always helps. The one that you sang to us when we were born." The deer antlered lioness smiled.
"You girls do like it when I do that." Zavok looked back to Cole. "It may work. Zekyu has only heard that lullaby once in her entire life while Zephyr and Zara had heard it countless times. She may remember that."
Zara started to hum, but she didn't sing the words.
