Bakari was still at the 'door' when a new set of paw steps sounded near outside and the lion's scent grew overwhelmingly strong. "Zeke!" he called, "We've got company!" he headed to the back of the cave where Zeke was busy shunning Mila. "Look, you might feel betrayed Zeke, but she might be our only way out of this. If she uses whatever leverage she may have she might be able to get Zilo to spare us. You can be mad at her later but right now we need Mila!" Bakari pleaded as the pawsteps reached the door.

[Zeke]

"They why do you know that he's trying to kill us? Why does he know you? And why did you lie to me!?" Zeke lost control of his anger and screamed at Mila. His last words scared him. He took a step back from the hole and looked away, ashamed

"I don't know for sure, but it's my best guess and it should be yours as well. He's slaughtered everyone in my family now either you get yourself under control or we could all very well die right now!" Bakari snapped at Zeke, not liking his limited authority being challenged for the first time.

Mila thought, and suddenly said "I have a plan to get out. Pretend you hate me for being his mate.." She said.


Zilo opened the door, and looked inside the cave, seeing the two lions, one looking at Mila. "I see you've found the hole in the cave" he said. "Enjoy the show?" he added.

Bakari held himself back from lunging immediately at the lion before him but he couldn't help his fur bristling as a low growl formed in the depths of his throat. A growl of pure hatred and despisement.

[Zeke]

"Yeah, great show," Zeke stared coldly at Mila and then at Zilo. "When I get out of here, you're dead!" Zeke snapped at Zilo who stood looking at him with a large grin on his face.

"I highly doubt that, I've seen how you can fight. It's a bit pathetic, to say the least." Zilo said. He stared at Mila. "Too bad you didn't get her while you had the chance, wimp."

"I didn't see you doing any of the fighting," Bakari growled as he stepped foreward, facing his enemy. "besides, I was a little sore from killing half of your hyena 'army' if that's what you call it."

[Zeke]

This enraged Zeke even more. His muzzle was burning in anger and his eyes glowed a fierce yellow color. "Mila! You two faced [censored]!" Zeke yelled, playing along with Mila's plan despite his anger

Mila pretended to be offended. She gasped. "If that's how you think, after I've helped you... then I WILL take Zilo's side again as his queen, like I should have long ago."

Zilo grinned with pleasure. "See, I knew you would come back to me. Guards ! Let Mila out!" Zilo said. Mila came running to Zilo's side. She stood next to him and looked at him with fake pride. She had to make it look as real as possible, so she kissed him.

After that was through with, Zilo began to talk to the two lions. "You two will be publicly executed tomorrow afternoon. Mila has already told you why." He grinned at Mila and told her "That's all I needed to say. Let's go back to my den." After Mila stared at Zeke for a bit, she said "See you tomorrow" with an evil grin.
