Uru nodded and sighed, "I suppose...its just I want that path to be a good one. I don't want hate filling deep in his heart." she said softly.


Mufasa chuckled and hopped up the ledges leaving Sarabi following at his heels, the big lion turned and grinned at her. "You're a firece one my Queen.." he teased rubbing his head off hers. He stepped into the den and circled it a bit as he laid down waiting for Sarabi to join his side, he licked her cheek. "Nothing in this whole land means more to me then you, id be honored if you were my last thing to see before I die. Id hate to be without you.." he added giving her a serious look with his warm brown eyes. Lifting his golden paw he pulled Sarabi's lean body closer to him and he smiled.


Sarafina smiled and then shrieked as she was pushed into the water, she broke the surface and quickly crawled onto land. She shook the water from her pelt and her green eyes narrowed at Topas. "Your a sly one.." she teased softly. She motioned for him to join him as they walked back towards Pride rock slowly, "Well...I hope you liked your first day here Topas. The Pride lands are great and Ahadi and Uru are good leaders..." she said with a grin. Her green eyes watched Topas closely and she smiled to herself.


Zira found herself taking a second look as the lion disappeared from her sight and her own amber eyes narrowed thinly. The smoke from the geysers blew and filled the air around her as a bunch of yellow eyes began to appear. She let out a deep growl from her chest and quickly brought her claws out, "Try me you mangy mutts.." she snapped angrily. She walked herself in a trap and let out a fierce yelp as a hyena chomped his teeth down on her back. She dug her claws into him and flung him onto the growl. She began to scratch and snap at the hyenas as one by one they attacked, she was starting to tire out. Taking a few steps back she put her back against a solid wall and lunged at a hyena pinning him down with her claws at his throat, "Call off your dogs!" she snapped.

Ahadi grinned. "He'll pull through," he said, hoping to cheer Uru up. "I know he will." He nuzzled her. "He's still our family, and he has our blood. Taka'll pull through."


Sarabi smiled as Mufasa puller her closer to him. "I'll always be by you and you know it," she told him. Reaching out, Sarabi leaned over and hugged Mufasa tightly. "You will always be mine."


Topas allowed Sarafina to climb out of the water. Following her, the two of them headed towards Priderock. "It's a good place," he replied. Her next comment made him smile. "You are awfully confident about the rulers," he said, "are you sure they won't, you know, kill me?" He laughed. "How well do you know the rulers, anyways?" He asked her.


Scar watched the lioness fight off the hyenas. He was rather impressed with her fighting ability, but it was crude at best, and she was tiring very quickly. But when she took a hyena hostage, he had to comply. "Alright, you win," he said nonchalantly. At his order, the hyenas backed off and disappeared into the graveyard. "Very impressive," he said, smiling at the lioness. "What is your name?"

Uru looked to Ahadi, "Will you have a talk with him? Sometimes I feel like my words go in one ear and out the other with these boys we have Ahadi." she said with a small chuckle. " I want Taka back...I do. I hope the Great Kings give us the guidance we need...more then ever now..."


Mufasa grinned and gave Sarabi's cheek a lick, "Tomorrow we will talk to Saffy and also check with my mother and father to see if we have anymore lessons left." he added looking to his Queen. He frowned a bit and nuzzled his face into Sarabi's brown fur, "My parents are getting old slowly..." he said softly.


Sarafina's green eyes gazed back at Topas, "Well my mom showed up at the Pride lands when I was a young cub and Mohatu took us in. It was a decison that Uru and Ahadi made together, that let me and my mom stay. I grew up with Mufasa, Taka and Sarabi, they accepted me in right away. This Pride is loving and we depend on each other. Plus Ahadi was a rogue when he stumbled onto the Pride lands and met Uru, so Ahadi knows what its like to be alone." she said softly and paused a moment not wanting to offend Topas. A frown crossed her muzzle as she looked up at him, "I mean just show him you want to change and aren't dangerous...Id stand beside you. Well i mean..er..never mind.." she muttered with a slight blush.


A sly grin was plastered across Zira's muzzle as her amber eyes caught sight of the mysterious lion approaching. She reclined back to her hinds and dusted the leftover dirt and bone from her brown pelt. Blood dripped down the side of her head as one of the hyenas ripped a small piece of her ear, she breathed heavily. Ignoring the pain she was in she lifted her head to gaze at the male, [b]"Zira and you?"[/b ]she asked with curiosity.

Ahadi also laughed at Uru's joke. "Yeah, I don't know how to talk to him," he replied, "but it doesn't mean that I won't try though." He looked up at the sky, but it was still too light out, and he didn't see the stars. "I might talk to them," he suggested. "See if they have anything to say."


Sarabi smiled slightly as Mufasa nuzzled into her. "Oh come on, now!" She said playfully. "It's them who are getting old, but you who doesn't want to be separated from me due to, what do you call them?" She gave a dramatic pause, pretending to be remembering some hard phrase. "Something, I don't know, like: kingly duties?" She smiled and nudged Mufasa. "Relax, everything will be alright."


Topas grinned at Sarafina. "You seem awfully nervous," he observed, "are you alright?" Topas reached out and gave her a quick hug. "You don't need to be nervous. I will help you." Realizing what he did, he quickly broke away, blushing. "Right... um... that never happened." He said quickly. "Let's just go meet the king and queen." He quickly stood up and headed towards Priderock, Sarafina next to him.


Scar watched how Zira was able to ignore the wounded ear very well. "Ta-" he was about to say Taka, but stopped himself. "Scar. Call me Scar." He smiled. "I am sure you can see why I chose that name." He said slyly. Motioning around at the graveyard, Scar said, "Welcome to my little abode. May I ask you where are you from?"

Uru nodded and quietly rested her head on Ahadi's shoulder, it was the sweet silence of the night. Her honey colored eyes watched the stars finally appear and she smiled, "They give the best advice..." she whispered, "Well lookie here..." she said nudging Ahadi with her muzzle and point to the approaching Topas and Sarafina.


Sarafina's cheeks flushed red and she quickly sprang after Topas, "Just be calm..." she whispered as they approached the relaxing King and Queen. She padded up to them softly and bowed her head, "Uru..Ahadi...Topas has a request for you." she said softly with a smile. Her green eyes flickered at Topas and then back to the King and Queen.


Mufasa wrestled with Sarabi and he nestled close to her relaxing, "Goodnight my love." he whispered before closing his eyes.



Zira's amber eyes side glanced around the graveyard and she smiled, "I'm a rogue, per-say. I just stumbled onto the Pride lands this morning and i found this dashing place in the shadows. " she said with a sly grin. "Scar, have you always lived here with these hyenas at your ever beckon call?" she said snapping her teeth at a near-by hyena watching him run off into the fog. She gave a cackle before looking back up to the green eyed lion.

Ahadi looked up and saw Sarafina approaching them, and the rogue next to her. "Hello, Sarafina," he greeted, "and you.." he searched his brain for the name, "...Topas. How are you two doing?"


Topas followed Sarafina nervously. When he saw Ahadi and Uru, he felt fear grow. Ahadi was bigger than him, and although the king looked pleasant enough, Topas didn't want to take any chances. "Greetings, King Ahadi, and, uh, Queen Uru," he said nervously, bowing as well "I err... Well I would like to ask you to... I would like permission to stay, to stay with the pride." He finally said. Next to him, Sarafina was trying hard not to laugh.


Ahadi looked at Topas. He remembered his own reaction to Mohatu, and understood why the lion was so nervous. "What can I say except welcome to the pride?" He asked. "You are already well acquainted wit Sarafina, and I don't see a reason why I should force you away from her."


Scar smiled at Zira. "I discovered this place on one of my explorations of the lands. It, and the hyenas, have proven most useful." He looked at her, aware of the hyenas eagerly waiting for a command to leap at her. A command that for now, he has no reason to give. "Are you staying or just passing through?" He asked.

[Songo]

Uru smiled and gave a nod, "I agree with you Ahadi, Welcome to the pride Topas." she said with a smile. She gave a wink to Sarafina and watched the two run away and she gazed up at Ahadi, "He reminds me of you when you when to speak to my father, all nervous and shaky." she said with a giggle as she nuzzled Ahadi's neck lovingly.


Sarafina padded beside Topas as they made their way towards the dens and she smiled, "I told you they would be ok with it." she teased. As they approached the den where he mother was sleeping soundly, "Thank you Topas, i had fun..it was good meeting you." she whispered softly. "Your den is right over there with the others..." she added leaning in to give the lion a quick nuzzle. She blushed slightly, her green eyes watching his every move.


Zira nodded, "It seems they have come in good handy..." she said watching them leave their presence. She looked up at Scar and shrugged, "I didn't know if i had a reason to stay or not.." she said softly thinking. "But I think i just might do that...stay i mean."

Ahadi laughed. "Now I know how Mohatu felt like when I met him for the first time," he said, "it's rather quite funny." He took a moment to calm down. "Yeah, Topas will get used to it soon enough. The nervousness and shakiness will also leave soon."

Ahadi looked outside and saw the setting sun. "It's getting dark. Time to retire for the night." He told Uru. "Looks like we are going to sleep with an extra member in the pride. Tomorrow we will be able to introduce him to everyone else."


Topas blushed when he felt Sarafina lick him. Trying to ignore it, he said, "Thank you, Sarafina. I'll see you tomorrow." He left her and walked inside the den. It was small, but for a single lion, actually fairly large. As he lay down for the night, Topas briefly wondered about Zira. He didn't particularly like the lioness, but she helped him out, and he wondered what she would do now. I'm in a pride now. He thought. This made him smile as he closed his eyes to sleep. Now his life should get easier.


Scar looked at Zira again. "I don't think you won't be allowed to stay," he told her, "My father is rather weak that way. He has a soft spot for rogues." Scar shook his head. "And same goes for Mufasa. If anything, the two are almost the same lion. Not the best thing, I would say."

Uru smiled agreeing with Ahadi, " You were so shaky around my father. He thought it was so funny." Lifting to her paws she walked beside Ahadi into their den cuddling close to his warm body, "Tomorrow we have a talk with Mufasa and Sarabi...we welcome the new members aswell. Lets give the rogues a place in our home."she whispered her honey colored eyes closing.

Sarafina smiled to herself as she crept into her den and curled up next to her mother. She closed her eyes and quickly drifted off into a sleep.


Zira smiled at Scar's words, "Its a shame you have such a weak King....if this place was run properly you could have quite a kingdom here." she said in a sly tone. Making a circle around Scar she bounded to the top of the bone mound her amber eyes peering down at him, "I might stay awhile...see what these lands have to offer me. Ill see you around." she said softly disappearing into the darkness, back towards the pridelands.

ooc: *looks outside. It's sunny and cloudless* hmm...


Ahadi lay don next to Uru, smiling. "I remember the day I found you so well, it feels like yesterday," he told her, getting quieter by the moment as he started to fall asleep. "And now we have almost the same thing with our sons... tha'ts..." he yawned, "... funny as well." Closing his eyes, Ahadi fell asleep next to Uru.


Scar watched Zira leave, his mind pondering. This Zira was so different than the others at the Pridelands. He liked her. Her confidence, her attitude. She reminded him of, well, him. "We will see about that, Zira," he told the air around him, "And when you will decide, I will be there."
