Simba's life in the jungle with a twist

"Yeah that's kinda why I left too. I'm still puzzled why those lioness's don't leave I know Scar wouldn't let them but they can sneak out one by one. And nothing says they can't come out here it's great!" Kasa said looking around. "Did you see the lion cub we have out here?" Kasa said, she stood up on her hind legs to reach up far enough towards Jamal's ear and whispered, "His name is Simba and he was the prince of the pridelands. His Uncle is Scar and he killed the rightful king Mufasa, I'm training him to go back and fight his uncle for the throne." Kasa got back down on all four and looked up, "Man I just noticed how short I am." Kasa joked.

Jamal chuckled at the last thing she said before looking in the direction the Simba had left earlier before with a smirk. "The prince you say? I guess it's a good thing I didn't eat him when he first got here then" he then got a little more serious as he looked at Kasa. "Is Scar really that bad? And you need to train him to fight more than just a lion if you want to take the thrown from Scar"

Finally, Simba returned with a dead hare. He dropped it to the ground. "Hey Kasa, I'm back!" he announced.

Simba acknowledged Jamal and greeted him and then looked back at Kasa. "Are you sure you're not hungry?" he asked.

Simba nodded and began to eat. Inside, he was sad and missing the Pridelands once again.

Masa looked up at the slightly taller Jamal, "J do you know any fighting skills? Simba needs all the training he can get if he want to beat Scar since he has all those hyenas." Kasa looked down at the ground and continued, "And to answer you previous question Scar is a monster and a force that no one wants to reckon with but once Simba I'd trained Scar will be a thing of the past Hakuna Matata. Haha, ever since I moved here Hakuna Matata is stuck in my head." Kasa explained.

Jamal did an over-dramatic scoff and put a paw over his chest where his heart would be. "Does Jamal know any fighting skills? Kasa I'm heart broken, why would you even have to ask such a thing" he turned away and did a fake sob before chuckled and smiling at the two. "I got a few moves from the old jaguar fighting code. But is he ready?" he smirked as he bounced around a bit, as if excited.

Elsewhere in the jungle, Timon and Pumbaa were off getting lunch. They made themselves scarce during training. After being used as pouncing practice, they both swore to leave them alone while simba was training with them.

"Timon, did you ever think we'd be friends with a group of lions?" asked Pumbaa.

"No I didn't. But I'm glad it happened. But something's been bugging me." said Timon.

"What's that?" asked Pumbaa.

"Why hasn't Scar attacked us yet? I mean the hyenas didn't finish the job. Simba's alive." said Timon.

"Maybe Scar thinks they did." said Pumbaa.

"Hey maybe Scar thinks they did. "If we can get Scar and the hyenas to fight each other, Simba can take over much easier." said Timon.

"Then we should Simba, Kasa, and the others." said Pumbaa.

"Maybe later when they aren't training. I just wonder how Simba's pride is doing over there." said Timon.

Meanwhile in the pridelands, Zira pretty much lived in the cave now. She was due to have her child soon. She would soon give Scar an heir to the kingdom. he did get more food than the others lionesses being pregnant. But she knew most of it went to the hyenas. She knew Scar was a great king, but she had heard the complaints of the other lionesses. If they ran out of food, they would all die. She knew Scar would never leave, but she wondered where did the animals go? If they could find them, they could bring them back and have food once more. She drifted off to sleep, deciding to talk to Scar about it later.
