Riu sighed, and stopped eating. She hung her head low, preparing on how to say it. "Remember that one I said I had a crush on? Well.. a long time ago, he always tried to play with me, but I thought I had better things to do, so I just ignored him. Later on, I wanted to apologize, but as soon as I came, I was told to go hunt something. When I returned, it appeared as though he vanished, and whenever I would ask where he was, the lionesses would only show sympathy, then look away as if I never spoke to them. As I grew older, I kept on believing my foolishness towards him was the reason he vanished, and it threw me off course for a long time. My hunting and fighting skills went horribly, and then others thought of me as a waste of energy and food, so they exiled me. A couple years pass, and I finally come across this area. That's the reason why I hoped I wouldn't hurt you in any way, because of my guilt for his disappearance." She held back the tears forming, knowing it would make her seem like a sensitive fool.

[Adofo]

Mala: Hey...it's okay! I'm sorry you had to go through all of that! But I'm sure he forgives you! And you have nothing to be guilty about! Come here, honey!

[Labatis]

Riu leaned in closer with Mala, some tears escaping her eyes. She felt horrible, and missed him very much. She was comforted by Mala's affection, it made her feel safe and secure.

[Adofo]

Mala: So.....did you love him? You can tell me the truth. I can take it.

[Labatis]

"I don't know.. I used to only think of him as a joke, but before I could tell him how I felt, and to apologize, he disappeared. I guess I used to love him a bit, but it is not like he would have ever known." She muttered, hoping the way she felt about that lion from years ago didn't upset Mala.

[Adofo]

Mala: Well...the past is the past.
He gave his mate a lick on the cheek.
Mala: Feel better after letting it out?

[Labatis]

"Yes.. I guess." Riu forced out a smile, trying to rid of the sorrow. "So.. anything planned? I can't quite think of anything to do..."

[Adofo]

Mala: I was thinking, now we are husband and wife, I was thinking we'd have a romantic day together! I already hunted for both of us today and Simba said we had the rest of the day to ourselves!

[Labatis]

"That would sound great!"

[Adofo]

Mala: Then let's go! Adofo told me about this jungle. Let's go!
