"Zeke, what in the world is going on over there!" he hissed, frustration bubbling in his veins. He knew that other lion was doing something to Mila, but he didn't dare look through that hole. If he hurts her I'm going to kill him! he thought to himself, feeling another flood of adrenaline.

[Zeke]

Zeke was shocked by the events that were unfolding. He slunk back from the wall and stumbled, falling on his side. He sat up and sat there, motionless. She lied to me was all that he could think. He was petrifed, he wanted it all to stop.

"Zeke!" Bakari hissed. "Come on, you need to focus, I can't do this alone!" Bakari tried to get Zeke to talk to him but the other lion just seemed completely dazed. Frustrated, Bakari dug into the ground with his claws. He still couldn't bring himself to look through the hole but the scents were enough to clue him in. "Zeke, I need you to talk to me. We can work through this but not if your going to lay down and die!"

[Zeke]

"She lied to me Bakari. She said that she spied on them but she is one of them." Zeke looked over at Bakari and whispered. "She is his mate."

Bakari was taken back for a moment. He stood silently in thought, regaining his years of experience and leadership, focusing all of his instincts on one thing. "It's gonna be OK Zeke, whatever has happened we can still get through this. Keep an ear out and let me know if Zilo leaves that other cave, you know he'll be in here next." With that Bakari went towards the blocked entrance and tried to listen and scent out how many hyenas were outside.

Zilo was finished with Mila, satisfied. He stopped what he was doing and left, without a word.

Mila laid there, exhausted. She could still feel his body there, on hers. She got up and tried to clean herself as much as possible. She looked over to the hole Bakari and Zeke were located and they could now see her depressed face if they were looking. She walked over, slowly, sat down, and said. "Who saw it..." her voice indicating she was obviously full of sorrow.

[Zeke]

Zeke looked away from the hole in the wall. "Mila...You told me..." Zeke paused, trying not to let his emotions get a hold of him. "You told me that you spied on them, not that you were one of them." He repeated almost exactly what he had told Bakari for he was at a loss of words. His emotions were a mix of anger, sadness, and betrayal. He dare not speak more in fear of letting his emotions go.

"I'm not... I'm not one of them Zeke" Mila said.

[Zeke]

"He said that you were his mate. You lied to me," Zeke said very coldly, still averting his gaze from the hole

"No..." she was about ready to cry. Zilo had just taken advantage of her, and Zeke was going to shun her. "I'm NOT his mate!" she cried. "I used to be.." she looked over to her side.
