"What if when the Queen or Conal finds out they try to break it apart? Because if you think about it long term, this would make Flash the KING when he's old enough. And I don't either of them really want that."

[TheLastLion]

"That'll be for Flash to decide. If he wants to be with Sadie, he'll have to make the case. I can't fight all his battles for him."

[Stormy]

"To me that just sounds like you'll stop defending him when he's older." Destiny replied.

[TheLastLion]

"Absolutely not." Kayla refuted.

[Stormy]

"He'll probably need you for that anyways. Because the way I see it, he'll only get treated worse as he gets older. Or at least, talked about worse. They’re ‘nice’ to him now as a kid. And someone like Conal won’t have to be as gentle with him.”

[TheLastLion]

"No, but I will step in once Conal becomes too territorial, which he will."

[Stormy]

“Yeah, until Conal manages to kill him in a fight somehow like he always wanted to, from what I heard at least.”

"I get it!" Kayla growls.

Destiny flinches and lowers her head onto to the ground submissively afraid she would be hit if she kept talking.

Kayla, realizing her error backed away and lowered her voice. "I'm.. I'm sorry I snapped at you like that." She sighed. "It's just... there's a lot on my mind at the moment."
