Reunion [PRIVATE: TheLastLion and Abyssal_S]

[Stormy]

The Queen turns her head. “I should’ve known that.. that... that RAT would be the reason. And you wondered why I had problems with him before?” The Queen says looking back to Sadie.

[TheLastLion]

Sadie looks up at her mother in shock. "Rat? Since when did you start adapting Conal's slander against him!?" She sounds absolutely betrayed at her mother's sudden heel change of heart for Flash.

[Stormy]

“Maybe it isn’t the right word, but you know exactly where I’m coming from.” The Queen replies. “You know I had problems originally with Flash’s influence and you STILL decide to pull something as dumb as staying out later than you’re supposed to. ESPECIALLY with Flash.”

[TheLastLion]

"We went to the meadow and we had a nice time. No near death encounter, no fight, we just sat there and enjoyed each other's company." Sadie continues. "Why is the curfew so strict anyway?" She asks, wracked with confusion.

[Stormy]

“It’s for your PROTECTION, Sadie, and you know that. And that will never change until I deem you’re old enough for it to be lifted.”

[TheLastLion]

"It feels like the time when I'm 'old enough' is never going to arrive, though." She says dejectedly. "I know you're doing it to protect me, but I get the feeling that you're ashamed of me sometimes." Sadie starts sniffling.

[Stormy]

The Queen sighs. “While you’re still growing daily, you’re still a cub, Sadie. It’s going to take time. Having a curfew doesn’t mean I’m ashamed of you.”

[TheLastLion]

"Then, what does it mean?"

[Stormy]

“Exactly what I said earlier. It’s in your best interests and for your safety.”

[TheLastLion]

"I guess so." Sadie concedes. "But I'm still not okay with you calling Flash a rat."
