[Closed] Trials in the Pridelands

Bianca grunted and followed her uncle. "Waaaaaaaake up!"

Kopa groaned as he was woken up. "What is going on?!" he shouted, only then realizing that his little cousin was standing there. "Sorry, Bianca," he said.

"It's alright," she said with a smile. "Good morning. Sleep well?"

Kopa nodded. "Of course. Once again, I dreamed about being king. That's happened since I was as a cub barely as old as you are now," he said.

"Wow. That's a long time." Bianca had a special bond with her cousin Kopa. She never knew why she perked up from her usual annoyed self to a sweet little cub.

Kopa nodded. "Yes, I'm very excited, much as my dad was when he was young. There's so many great stories about that," he said to her.

"Like what? Can you tell me one?" Bianca lay down and curled her tail around herself.

Kopa laughed. "Well, there was a time when your mom, my dad and my mom decided that they wanted to prove their bravery, so they lied that they were going to the waterhole when, in fact, they were going to find a place that offered danger. They came up with a scheme to lose their babysitter and did so. Then, your mother fell down a slope and into a realm called the Elephant Graveyard, home to many hyenas. My parents went down to save her and they were confronted by three hyenas. However, Grandpa Mufasa saw that they were gone and found them. He then fought off all three hyenas at once," he said.

"Wow! That's so cool! Do the hyenas still live in the Graveyard?" Bianca asked eagerly, sitting up.

Kopa shook his head. "It's believed that they fled the area after Scar's death and no longer live there. I don't recommend going to find out," he said.
