Vitani nuzzled Mheetu, "Nothing with happen to us, hun. I promise!" Licking his cheek and lying down. Placing Bianca, Saffy, then Kamili into their paws. "Sleep babies, tomorrow you'll be able to see Tanabi. Remember, he can't play yet. He's just too small." Licking their heads.

Kiara blushed, "Thank you Ali, but we better get back now, It's starting to get dark." Smiling at him, Completely forgetting about Kovu. "Your a gentle-lion, I hope you know that." Looking up the now darkened, gray rock.

Folle smiled, "Tanabi, drink please hunny." Licking his soft head. "Keep drinking and you'll grow big and strong!" Smiling down at Tanabi.

Kamili smiled, "Good Night." Slowly bringing her head down and closing her eyes. Quickly following asleep.

Ali smiled as he started to walk towards Pride Rock. "My parents taught me to treat a lioness with the utmost respect. I thank you for showing me around your parents' kingdom," he said.

Kiara nodded, "You're welcome, and you were raised just like I was." Remembering the long walks she had with her mother about mates.

Kovu called again, in case Monstro hadn't heard. "Yes, Father?"

Ali smiled and then took a spot outside the den. He would sleep outside tonight, for he had only just met Kiara and it would be improper for him to be near her at this moment.

Simba was just laying down as Kiara entered. He looked at her. "So, did you enjoy your time with Prince Ali?" he asked her.

Kiara nodded, "Yes, he's very proper. I like him." Laying down beside her father and placing her head in her paws. "But he's no Kovu." Looking up at her elderly father, who's grown very old.

Simba smiled. "Listen to me, Kiara. He's better than Kovu in every way. I'm sure that he will make a great mate," he said.

Mheetu sighed and waited for the girls to fall asleep before he looked to Vitani with his big green eyes, concern flickering through them. "I think you and the girls should stay around Pride rock, where your all safe. Until Kopa and I do a check of the lands with Simba, I really don't want you heading out there to see Chaka. Vitani..." he muttered trying not to give his mate orders. He just wanted her to know how concerned he was, "I love you, please just for a few days. Give the girls some pouncing lessons and stay busy...I'm sure while Kopa's with me Ruby wouldn't mind helping out." he added.

Nala lifted her head to spy Kiara making her way back into the den with a smile across her muzzle, she smiled back. "I know dear, give him time. Hes a very charming lion." she whispered giving her daughter a loving nuzzle. A frown crossed her muzzle and she looked to Simba with a small sigh escaping her muzzle lips.

Monstro's ears twitched as Kovu's voice caught him, "Come here.." he growled softly. Once Kovu sat in front of him, Monstro circled him slowly. "So tell me son...what did you find out about the Pride landers? Did you find out any weaknesses...?" he said poking Kovu with questions. Monstro stopped in front of Kovu and his yellow eyes stared at his son, "I hope you havent forgot the reason you were sent out into those lands...Kovu?" Monstro growled impatiently.

As the stars flickered above them Ruby snuggled close to Kopa, "Do you think Zira will come back again? She seemed quite upset..." the lionesses asked softly wondering. Her amber eyes sparkled up at Kopa and she gave his muzzle a reassuringly lick, "I'm sure anything she throws at us...we can handle. As long as I have you.."

Simba nodded. "You're right, Nala. He sort of reminds me of when I was a young lion," he said, remembering those long-gone days.

"I... well... to get on the inside. Kill Simba." He thought. "They are too close. Family seems to be too important to them. They are weak, unlike Scar."
