[Open] Zira Succeeds

As Vah did what he did, Kiara started to purr at the attention, forgetting that Muroki was even there for a moment, "Sure, I'd love to." she said, a purr evident in his voice while she returned his nuzzles.

Muroki couldn't help but stare at the couple. Like most cubs, he didn't understand anything about relationships, and like most cubs thought that girls were... 'yucky'. He just patiently waited for them to finish whatever it seemed they were going, he didn't want to seem rude

Vah smiled while Kiara and him talked, almost forgetting Muroki was walking with them until Vah caught sight of him in his peripheral vision, staring at them both. Even at that point, Vah didn't really care that Muroki was staring at them. He was a cub, and cubs don't exactly understand the term 'love' too well, but eventually he would learn, that is, if he ever met another lioness. Vah thought this was entirely possible, as Kiara could have a female cub when she gave birth, which shouldn't really be too long from now. He just shrugged at this thought as he hopped up to the top of the slope. "Only a fee minutes away from here is where you'll be staying with us." he told Muroki, looking down at the small cub. Vah was sure Muroki would like their 'den'.

Kiara hopped to the top as well, looking around at Muroki, who had a slightly harder time getting up there, though to her surprise he managed to pull himself up without any problem. Only then she realised that Muroki was there the whole time during her talk with Vah, though the cub didn't seem to show anything in respond to that, Kiara knew that he probably saw. But he would understand someday, someday he would meet a lioness of his age, Kiara knew that someday he might set off to find himself someone, unless by miracle some lioness Muroki would like somehow passed by before that happened. Despite how sad it would probably be to see him go, if that happens, Kiara kept telling herself that the day was far away, and that by then she would have her own cubs already. She couldn't help but think whether Vah was considering the posibillity of having cubs of his own, but that option was a few months away right then. "Yeah, I think you'd like it here." she said, smiling at the cub, who was probably curious about the place.

Muroki forced a smile at both of them, despite how wierd the sight he had seen a few moments ago was. "Thanks for letting me stay. I didn't really have any other place to go to..." he said, sounding distant for a moment but then bringing his happy smile back. The tragedy was far behind him, and he would have to move on eventually, better sooner than later.

Vah smiled down at Muroki, and ruffled the fur on top of his head with a paw before starting to walk again. "Don't worry, little guy, me and Kiara will always be there for you. We would never let anything happen to you." Vah told Muroki in a caring voice, glancing over towards Kiara, remembering that she said Muroki was going to like it here. "And Kiara's right, you'll love it here. There's plenty of new places for you to explore." He informed Muroki enthusiastically, also remembering that Kiara hadn't really seen the place properly either. "Even Kiara hasn't explored yet." Vah then looked off ahead of them all, and noticed that they were now very close to getting back.

Muroki was very excited at Vah's words. He really enjoyed seeing new places and everything, though the last thing he said left him slightly confused. He had seen a moment ago how close Vah and Kiara were, especially due to the fact that she seemed to be pregnant. And also according to what Vah said about that there's plenty of places to explore brought him to understanding that they'd been living there for a while now. But if they were, how come Kiara hadn't explored the place yet? "Oh really? How come?" he asked, looking at Kiara

Kiara turned her gaze down to Muroki, smiling slightly at the cub's curiousity. "I've only been here for a few hours." she said. Curiousity was a healthy thing, though she remembered how it always used to get her into trouble.

Muroki was even more confused. They seemed to be mates, Vah knew the place, and Kiara had only been living her for several hours? "Oh, but... aren't you two mates"? he asked, not noticing that he might be taking the questions too far

Vah laughed quietly to himself as Muroki began to fire questions at both Kiara and Vah. Kiara had answered the last question, so he decided he should answer the next one, but, unfortunately for him, it was the more difficult of the two to answer. "Well...not exactly, no, but if it makes you more comfotable, then you can say we are. I doubt you'd want to listen to how we actually met and everything..."

Vah started off answering Muroki's question with a smile, but ended up sighing and looking down at the ground as he finished answering. He really didn't want Muroki to know how Kiara and him met, it would involve telling of Kiara's past, not something he wanted to do, and he doubted that Kiara would want that either. "Anyway..." he began, looking back up and putting on a smile again, attempting to lead them away from that subject. "It looks like we're back!" Vah exclaimed, looking at the distinctive outside look of their 'den'.

Vah's attempt at changing the subject succeeded pretty well, as the cub completly turned his attention to their sorroundings. However he quickly had a confused expressio on his face, he couldn't see a normal cave 'den' like the one he used to live at before, it was hard for the cub to notice the small entrance between the gathered trees. "I... I don't see it." he said. feeling slightly embarassed

Vah grinned as he walked over to the entrance, which Muroki couldn't find, and to be honest, it was difficult to for any stranger to find. That's what made it such a good 'den', as it was a brilliant place to lay low if they were ever in danger. "Don't worry. It's pretty hard to find, I know." Vah told Muroki, reassuring him that he wasn't being stupid. "Its just in here." Vah gestured towards a small batch of leaves and walked through them, making the entrance now impossible to miss. "Come on in."

Muroki only then caught sight of the entrance. Well, not presicely. He saw it, but he hadn't managed to figure out that this was an entrance, not to mention an entrance to a place someone used as a den. But as Vah walked inside, the entrance became completly clear to him, and the cub's excitement kept him still as he looked inside, trying to see the den Vah was talking about. But the entrance was like a short hallway, which was quite narrow and had Vah blocking it, making it impossible to see what inside. He suddenly felt himself being pushed forward to the entrance, and looked around to see Kiara pushing him gently with his noise, smiling all the way, "Okay I'm going." he said, quickly moving away from Kiara and into the entrance. When he reached Vah, he waited for the lion to move on so that he could continue walking inside as well

Vah pushed his way through the flurry of small branches and leaves and carried on down the small, narrow tunnel to get into their 'den'. He couldn't wait to show it to Muroki, and as soon as he got through the tunnel, he stepped to the side to let Muroki and Kiara through. Vah waited patiently for them to come out of the end, his mind buzzing with thoughts of many different things. In fact, it was starting to get quite annoying. "So, this is it. Home sweet home. The place I've been living for most of my life." He told Muroki, keeping his anticipation in check and waiting to see what Muroki would think of it.
