[Closed] Trials in the Pridelands

"Simba, Simba, Simba..." She looked to Kovu. "Get him."
Kovu looked from his mate to Simba, to his mother. He took a shaky breath and pounced on Simba.
"Yes! Yes!"

Simba growled at the sudden betrayal and pushed Kovu off. "What is going on here?!" he demanded, looking back and forth between Zira and Kovu before settling on Zira. "Zira, is this about what happened a long time ago? If so, there's no possible way Vitani will join you. She is not your daughter," he said.

"Simba!" Nala called as Kovu attacked her mate and she bared her fangs towards Kovu. "You traitor...you wanted to marry Kiara for what? Simba?" she whispered in a low surprised tone. The Queen flashed her claws and pointed at Kovu, "Go back to where ever...you came from!" she added with a snarl, before looking to Zira. "Zira, have you completely gone mad?"

Monstro took a step forward as Simba threw off Kovu and he let out a snarl, "Kovu! Don't just roll over do what you were trained to do!" he snapped angrily. Monstro's yellow eyes peered from Zira and then back to Kovu, before looking over at Vitani. "So thats her...eh..she looks like you." he said commenting with a small evil smirk. "Oh come now Simba....theres no reasoning here."

Mheetu let out a low warning growl towards Zira and her unwanted family, "Vitani is going no where. Nor is she your daughter..don't be ridiculous." he protested his green eyes looking from Vitani and then to Zira.

Saffy looked up at her mother with big green questioning eyes, "Mother..?" she whispered softly in all the commotion.

Ruby took another step forward as Kovu attacked Simba and she looked to Kopa, "Do something Kopa...Kovu just attacked your father." she muttered with concern.

"Oh, no, Simba, this is not about Vitani. This is about Scar. It... is... his... throne!" She leapt on Simba.
Kovu took a gulp and did as his mother did. "For Scar!"

Simba roared in fury as his aunt and her son attacked him. For a good while, there was a struggle. Simba waited for the lionesses to to jump in and help him.

Kopa also roared in fury, then leapt on Kovu. "YOU BETRAYED YOUR NEW FAMILY! I'LL MAKE SURE THAT MY SISTER WILL HAVE TO FIND A NEW MATE!" he shouted as he sank his teeth into the back of Kovu's neck.

It only took Nala a few moments to realize what happened and the Queen quickly sprung into action pulling Zira off Simba. "Zira...." she hissed lowly. "Scar was a traitor to his family and you are no better. That's why Mufasa exiled you a long time ago!" she snarled loudly. Long claws bared as the light tan lioness jumped into the air, she tackled her life long enemy to the ground and they rolled in the dirt.

Ruby gasped at the sight as Kopa attacked Kovu and Ruby quickly ran to Kiara's side. "Kiara stay back!" she called to her friend. Her amber eyes watched as the princess never let the two lions from her sight. She was prepared to intervene at any moment, still unsure of what should be done.

Monstro's yellow eyes narrowed thinly and he sprung after Simba, his massive black paws finding their way onto the King's body. He let out a roar and took another shot before taking a step back. "The throne is going to be Ziras!" he snapped staring coldly at Simba.

Mheetu' green eyes watched the fight and he looked to Vitani, "Get back with the kids, I'll help Simba!" he said running over to aid his King. "Simba...are you okay?" he called out before stepping back as Monstro and Simba squared up. He looked to Nala fighting Zira and then he looked over at Kovu fight Kopa. A uneasy feeling of shame washed over him at the cries from Kiara as her mate and big brother fought.

Saffy stayed close to her mother and she watched Nala fight, she awed at how quick the Queen was. "Get her Nala!" she called out in cheer. But Saffy quickly stopped making noise as Vitani's eyes peered down in warning.

Simba growled at Monstro. "Never! The throne is rightfully mine! Vitani and I are the true heirs of Pride Rock, not our aunt!" he said, preparing to leap at his enemy.

Chaka heard tons of shouting and it wouldn't let him take a nap. After tolerating it for a few minutes, he finally snapped and a low grumble escaped his throat. He flipped over and stood up in a sprint to the cavern entrance. He smacked his way through the underbrush and gave a final impulse landing on firm land. He burst. "For what in the name of the Grea--?!" his insult was cut short as he noticed the noticed the multiple fighting and arguments, accompanied by family members protecting each other. His expression quickly changed from pure anger to shock. "What the heck?!"he roared, trying to get his presence known.
Then it happened. A cold chill ran down his spine and he felt like brutally killing his father and mother, taking Zira's side. His pupils immediately dilated and his were extracted fully. His lips curled back revealing dagger-like teeth that weren't worn down due to improper meals. "SIMBAA!!" he yelled harshly and took charge. With a roar he knocked his father down pressing his claws against Simba's shoulders. As he flipped him over Chaka himself rolled off and came tumbling to a stop. His breathing was heavy and his gaze slowly rose, waiting for a response.

Kovu yelped as Kopa bit him. "Did you honestly think that I was going to give up on my family so easily?" He kicked his brother-in-law off of his back. "Boy, are you in for trouble."

Zira growled. "Get off, Nala! You know that only Scar could be so kind as to bring your father back to you."

Kopa growled. "When you married Kiara, you joined our family. That was a sacred bond, and you broke it!" he shouted, getting ready to attack again.

Simba was shocked by the sudden appearance of Chaka. "Chaka? Is that really you?" he asked, preparing to defend himself in case his wayward son attacked again.
