A deafening sound could suddenly be heard across Priderock. It was a cross between a roar and what seemed like a screech. It was Kivuli. Somehow he was awake, and was overcome with the deadly injuries. he deadly noise just got louder and longer. Echoing through out the caves.

It suddenly fell silent once again. Kivuli had stopped. The intense pain form the fight had just knocked him out cold

Kovu was still unconscious. But however, his mind was alive What? What happened? Then, Kovu heard a voice. "Hello Kovu" "Mother?" "Yes, I'm alive in your mind, but not really alive." Okay, but I want to awake, but I can't, god has to wake me up. "I know, face it, he'll wake you up." Then, Zira left, leavign Kovu's mind alone.

Simba got a glimpse of Kovu's atrocious wounds. It wasn't a pretty sight to say the least and each puncture wound that Kivuli inflicted on poor Kovu made each wound significantly unbearable looking. The king's eyes carefully examined each and every injury, having great concerns near Kovu's neck region. He had a feeling that Kovu was going to be okay, seeing how he was still breathing steadily which was a good thing. Hearing upon his mate's distraught tone of voice, Simba's immediate attention was focused around her, taking in on what she was saying. In a instant, a frown formed around his ebony muzzle lips as he felt his loving mate burring her furry face into his silky mane.

"Shh... It's okay sweetie, I think Kovu's going to be fine honestly. The injuries he sustained do look really bad, I believe it's going to take a few weeks for them to heal up. Besides, Kovu is still breathing steadily and the blood is beginning to stop too." Simba said reassuringly, leaning down to affectionately give his loving mate a much needed nuzzle. He knew Kovu was in a critical state but deep down, the king is sure that Kovu is going to be just fine.

"Are you feeling much better love? I hate to see you cry like this, I feel really bad about Kovu and Kivuli's condition as well. We're going have to watch Kovu more though, he's our main concern." Simba leaned back a little, beginning to lick thoroughly over his mate's soaking wet furry cheeks to get any strand of tears that stained her gorgeous face.

"I promise you love, he'll be fi..." Simba's voice was cut off from a strange sound coming from where Kivuli was resting. It didn't sound like Kivuli whatsoever, making him worry.

"Did you hear that Nala?" Simba asked, pasting a puzzled look on his furry face.

Sirom took a glance at everyone and was happy to know they were all ready to venture in the Pride Lands. It was finally their time to sneak in their territory for once and hopefully find some shelter to which they all can live in. Taking in on what Sykara was whispering to him, Sirom nodded with a smile and quickly paced on ahead to catch up with Sykara who was leading their party. He knew that picking Sykara was a wonderful choice, seeing how she was more knowledgeable when it comes to finding a suitable cavern. As they pressed on, Sirom caught sights of the Pride Lands for the second time today. He hadn't stepped into these lands in a good while and never really spoke up about the last time he was here. Quickly scanning the area, he could not see any Pridelander nearby, indicating that they were partially safe.

"Okay, so far so good. When we get in deeper Sykara, we might find a suitable place on our left. I see more rocky surfaces in that direction unless you spotted something better?" Sirom whispered lowly, making sure that only his loyal friends can hear.

Sykara's long whiskers twitched as she slowly continued towards the Pridelands. Something deep under her skin told her that the Pridelanders may have gone away right now, and that made her breathe easier; finding a cave here where the four, plus the cub , would be safe and comfortable. Sykara had wandered in some odd places in the past, including some that barely housed herself for a night or two.

She looked at the rocky areas Sirom had mentioned and seemed curious about it.

"Nope, haven't seen anything different yet. If we could manage to find a nice shelter there though, that'd be great. Wanna take a closer look at it, or keep pressing on?" The lioness encouragedly smiled as she waited for an answer. Unlike what had happened earlier today, her paws didn't feel any pain whatsoever from the walk up to the Pridelands this time.

Vitani slowly got up upon noticing the return of Simba, Nala, Kovu, and Kivuli. She walked over to Kovu and winced at his and Kivuli's wounds. Even if he might forget it as he regained consciousness, Kovu's new sort of bloodwrath scared her to no end.

K...Kovu? Please wake up.." Vitani still eyed her kin's injured figure, hoping that, maybe it all was a bad dream.

Nala smiled bravely at her mate’s confidence in the face of such pain and danger. She tried to smile herself, and it came out a bit shaky. Hearing Vitani approach though, Nala did dry her tears and try to appear in control. Vitani was already worried enough without her falling apart as well.

“Shh Vitani,” she said, placing her head over Vitani’s neck to try and comfort her friend. “He’s bad right now, but he might be well enough to wake up and tell us what happened tomorrow. I-“

Here Nala was cut off by Kivuli’s yell of pain. Though momentarily shocked by first the intensity of the cry, and then the fact that Kivuli could even be awake, Nala responded quickly to Simba’s question. She nodded, and beckoned to her fellows as though to say “let’s go.” She was focused again, always steady in a crisis, and she was the first to arrive at Kivuli’s side. The poor lion appeared delirious.

Simba kept a full on frown, knowing that his mate was feeling awful due to Kovu and Kivuli's condition. He heard her soft, caring tone break their moment of silence and knew that she was trying to force herself to become better. Even during these hard times, Simba couldn't help but comfort his loving mate the best he can. Leaning in further, he gave her another loving nuzzle, followed by a lick across her furry cheek.

Not paying attention to his surroundings, Simba was startled by the presence of Vitani as she made her way towards Kovu's unconscious body. Keeping his eyes fixated on her figure, the king listened to her despaired tone. Not wanting Vitani to feel any worse, Simba followed close behind of his mate until they reached where Vitani was comforting her brother.

"Are you okay Vitani? Your brother is going to be fine, I assure you of that. There's not much we can do at this time but wait for him to wake up." Simba finished in a soft caring tone, leaning in to give her a friendly nuzzle of reassuring.

Simba glanced over to his mate, noticing that she was startled by Kivuli's agonizing yell not too long ago. Taking note of her hint, Simba glanced back to Vitani and smiled.

"Can you excuse me for a few minutes, Vitani? I need to check up on Kivuli to see if he's okay. I'll be back really soon, okay? Remember, if there's anything you need, don't hesitate to ask me or Nala. We'll be willing to assist you."

he immediately rushed over to Kivuli's side, eying every wound that was inflicted on his innocent body. He wasn't sure if Kivuli was cautious or not.

"Kivuli? Are you awake?" Simba asked politely, having a serious expression pasted on his furry orange face as he stood close by his loving mate.

Sirom padded along close to Sykara, making sure not to bump into her or anything as his eyes were gazing upon rock after thick layer of rock that laid ahead of them. When they were reaching deeper into the Pride Lands, Sirom's fuzzy brown ears perked up to hear Sykara's question. Padding at a slower rate now, he thought about it and smiled,

"Let's go take a closer look Sykara, if we don't find anything there, we'll press on. I have a strong feeling we might find something there, I'm hoping." He replied and kept on smiling warmly, glancing over his shoulder from time to time, making sure that Manyota and Huyani were close behind.

"There's no harm if we do go over there, I suppose..." Sykara honestly doubted that something would go wrong in the rocks at his point, not with a team of a couple other lionesses and lion to help her if need be. Looking over at Sirom, Huyani, Manyota, and her cub one more time, the lioness nodded and went over to the rocky area now. At first, it looked like what it was from a distance; a bunch of flat rocky area, but much closer investigation told her that there was a huge gap somewhere in the rock. It wasn't enough to house the group completely, but might have some useful purpose later.

Smiling, she sat there for a while, waiting for someone else to look at the rocks more. Sykara let out a huge yawn and realized how tired she really was today.

Vitani slowly backed away from Simba and Nala, so she would feel comfortable again. She didn't feel like taking yet another bit of sleep, or even go outside of Pride Rock.

"Don't worry, I'm fine," she tried to reassure Simba. "I just need to be by myself for a while..."

Manyota followed Sykara and Sirom. "I have a question Sykara, when are we going to eat? I am getting hungry. If I'm not fed I can't feed my cub." Manyota then looked at Huyani. Manyota wondered what she was thinking...
