The new danger in the land

Tua placed his paw on her cheek.
Tua: I just....never want to hurt you again! .....Boys.....while you were in your mothers tummy.....I messed. Badly. .......I cracked. I lost it and ran away. I left the love of my life behind....and not only did I hurt her...she tried to come after me! She was heavily pregnant and she passed out from exhaustion. I almost lost you two.....and almost lost her. It's my biggest shame.
Even Nuru was heartbroken by that sad story

Marini said nothing. Was that really something their cubs needed to know at such a young age? "What happened then?" asked Mufasa, obviously curious.

Tua: ....I came back. I begged Your mother to forgive me.....and I promised I'd make it up to her. .....And i did.
Tua hopped off the hammock and went behind the trees and pushed out four statues on a huge base. All made out of wood. A statue of him, Marini and the boys. Together and happy.
Tua: THIS is what I did to make up for it!

Mufasa and Nuru's mouthes dropped wide open as they saw the statues. "Wow!" They both ran over excitedly while Marini followed slowly with a smile on her face. She'd seen these statues already. "How did you do this??"

Tua: A lot of time....and a lot of wood! I felt.....so guilty.......I had to do something to make it up to the one I love most! .....You forgive me, sweetheart?

"Yes..." Marini slowly nodded her head. "For the millionth time..." she muttered under her breath.

Tua slowly went in and gave her a heart filled kiss.
Tua: I love you!

Marini smiled and happily kissed back. "I love you too." Mufasa walked over and affectionately rubbed against their legs.

Nuru rolled his eyes and decided to copy his brother
Tua: So.....what now?

Mufasa looked up at his father. "What I meant when I asked what happened was what happened, well... After mommy passed out..." He was still curious
